This was our second trip to Breathless Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa. This is such a great resort to visit because it has something for everyone. We love an adult all-inclusive resort and this one should be on your list because it has incredible staff, delicious food, amazing entertainment, and wonderful accommodations. We loved our partial ocean view room with king bed overlooking the Xcelerate pool. The grounds and rooms are very clean and the staff works so hard. One of our favorite treats is to order room service for breakfast the night before and have it set to be delivered the next morning. They were always on time and food was delicious and hot. This was a great start to the morning before attending a group fitness class by the beach at the Foam Bar deck area or a yoga class on the beach or going to the gym. There are lots of activities to participate in at the Energy Pool from Aqua Spin to beach and water volleyball. The E Team works really hard and does a fantastic job engaging with guests and getting participation. Shout out to Nicole, Eloy and David!!! This pool area is great for participating in activities or just reading a book and laying out. Be sure to see Daniel at the Twist and Squeeze Bar for all your drink needs. If you want a more lively environment then head to the Excelerate Pool and Party Zone for the afternoon with the live DJ and dancers on Thursday - Sunday. The evening entertainment is also top notch! There are different theme nights with live music or a DJ set up in front of Wink. These were so much fun, and if you want to keep dancing then you can head to After Dark nightclub. There is something fun to do for everyone! Our favorite lunch spot is Bites overlooking the Energy Pool. The shrimp tostada was my favorite as well as the coconut and mango ceviche. They were both so fresh and just perfect for lunch. We prefer to stay by the pool late so an afternoon snack is a must and Cesar makes the best wood-fired pizzas at the Foam Bar. If you are at the Excelerate Pool Barefoot Grill has great options too. For dinner, you really can't go wrong at any of the restaurants. They are all delicious and since we were there for 7 nights, we were able to go to all of them. Coquette (French cuisine) is probably our favorite, but they all have delicious options that will satisfy any appetite. This was our first time to Breathless in March, and the weather was fabulous. It was not too hot and had a great breeze. The Spa is fabulous here and has hydrotherapy circuit which is a must add-on to your massage! Be sure to book early so you can get it in! We did not do any excursions because we wanted to relax and enjoy all the wonderful accommodations this resort has to offer. You won't regret booking this resort. Read less

This was my second visit, I went in November to celebrate my birthday and was so impressed by the quality and hospitality that I soon booked again for April! Breathless has quickly become one of my favourites and makes me feel like a second home. The resort is beautiful and extremely well kept. The rooms are wonderful, I upgraded to an ocean front Xhale suite this time and the view was phenomenal! I also very much enjoyed the upgraded amenities and perks. The restaurants are amazing, the food from a la carte, to buffet to snacks are all delicious. Cocktails are nicely crafted and wine selection is great! The staff, I cannot say enough great things about the staff. This resort delivers the best hospitality I’ve encountered in an all inclusive so far, even after months and with all the guests they see so many of them recognized me from my first time and greeted me like family, very well done Breathless! For all of these reasons, I am already looking forward to a third visit! Here is a shout out to my stand out staff who always go above and beyond and truly made my two vacation unforgettable: Xcelerate pool team: Edwin, Juan Carlos, Sonia, Nedel, Mario, Anthony, Leo, Karla and Ivan. Amazing service everywhere, it doesn't matter which restaurant you dined in, which pool you sat at, everyone was wonderful. Special shout out to Pascual at Spoon, he was such a friendly face to see every morning. Another special shout out to Antonio Ramirez, the sommelier, who was very knowledgeable and provided amazing service.

The place was wonderful, but the staff are what really made the experience. Pascual, spoon, ceasar, Joana and Ganboa were all fantastic in the Buffet. Fernando, Antonio R, Manny, and Benjamin all made for amazing evenings and fun days. Highly recommend if you're looking for a party!
