I decided to take some pictures, as it was so beautiful. There were white and brown condos. There was a lot of parking places and what I liked the most were the flowers. So beautiful! There were beautiful palm trees and gorgeous flowers. We were there for 5 minutes and found how to go to the L'Anse Aux Epines. This is luxury and it has a beautiful swimming pool as well. Worthwhile to see! Maybe next time we will come . Worthwhile to see! Read less

This is the best place to stay in. Never been more spoilt and cared for anywhere. Cleanliness, courtesy, kindness and I must not forget the cuisine superb. We were looked after so well. It will be a tough act to follow.

The setting is superb, the pool area is quiet and luxurious and the beach a great option too. The suites are spacious and comfortable and the service from some excellent hard working staff is exceptional. Both restaurants are very good and dinner at the Rhodes restaurant was always a highlight. Cant wait to return here soon. Read less

My wife and I have stayed at a number of high end resorts in the Caribbean. Calabash certainly ranks right up there with the best. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The food at both Rhodes and the Beach Club was excellent. We were upgraded on booking to half board, which turned out to be a bargain. Breakfast each morning on the patio was a special treat, and it was a real breakfast and not just a continental one. A sunset serving of canapes and a drink brought to your suite was also a nice touch. We enjoyed the beach and the pool. The beach is especially nice, since a significant part is well shaded by trees. It was never crowded and staff would pass by to take a drink order or bring you cold water or a fruit drink The pool is an infinity one with a bar literally steps away. We were in a pool suite. The suite is large, comfortable and has an outdoor plunge pool, shower and tub. Privacy is no problem. The room is made up daily with turn-down service each evening. Calabash's size is also a great selling point. It is a rather small resort which we prefer as we are not party people. We go to the Caribbean to relax, enjoy the food, drink and culture. I would also recommend taking one day off from the resort to do a spice isle tour. The front desk will arrange it for you. The tour lasts about 5 hours and will take you to St. George's, up into the rainforest and a visit to a rum distillery and a working spice operation. You can customize your tour with your driver. All in all Calabash is a great place and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Read less
