We read TA reviews to help us pick the pick the best. Having read all the 5-star reviews for Grenada, every hotel , bar one, had at least one personal deal breaker..... something that would be unacceptable on your holiday, if you wanted as near perfection as possible. For example, Is the beach exclusive .....or home to day trippers or cruise passengers ? Are there unlimited loungers that don't need reservation at 5 in the morning, or payment to someone ? Is the room quiet and spotless, with high end furnishings, perfect air con, luxury toiletries, complimentary Nespresso and tea making facilities. and unlimitted white fluffy towels? Is the housekeeping invisible, for example, the turn down is when you are at dinner....not when getting out of the shower ? Does the catering sound inviting, varied and memorable? If you reserve a table, will it always be ready for you at the time you want ? Are there complimentary, queue-free watersports and tennis Is the pool a quiet oasis , with plenty of different sunbeds and longers? Do all the staff take a real pleasure on giving perfect service? The Calabash seems unique, in that it appears to have none of these problems..... And when we return next time, I am confident that we will discover that the management will have found something to improve, which currently seems impossible. Read less
