Im still awaiting for this second Authorised payment to be cancelled from my account despite the first payment having been processed, and it has been 9 days and I'm still awaiting this cancellation for a process that should take days. Staff also seemed unaware of the contents of the welcoming book that was inside the rooms about facilities and services offered. The room was very nice, great location as it was on the beach and fairly modern but let down by no internet as advertised and tv signal was distorted and didnt have the channels as listed in the welcoming book. The grounds are beautiful except the beach in places has rocks and can be hazardous at night. Read less

This music is apparently coming from Quarantine Point (a small point not far from resort) that caters to private events. Was told that nothing could be done and these types of events last sometimes until 5 a.m.! What a shame. I go on holiday for peace and quiet and believe it or not.. sleep...NOT to be kept up all night (even white noise did not mask this racket). My advice would be to try to find out if any events are going on at this location while on vacation and pick your weeks around it. This may not be a issue for some people but it was for me. Read less

I was here April 2019 right before it was being closed for renovations. Me and my finance loved this resort!! There is so much open area, it doesn't feel crowded, lots of area to just walk around and enjoy the different views along with the ability to kayak to several different beaches! There are two beaches, bring water shoes! The one beach is very rocky but would be fine for swimming once getting past the rock. The other side of the beach is perfect for swimming but I still suggest water shoes are there is some coral. Really great snorkeling at both beaches. We saw a lot of wild life! We loved the sports at the second beach and the hobbie boat ride was so fun, we saw turtles! Right beside the resort is a deserted beach, you can swim over to it and there is tons of shells over there! It was nice to have the whole beach to ourselves. We kayaked to 2 other beaches (all beaches in Grenada are public) it took about 20 mins maybe to get to the furthest one. It was a nice way to spend the day. We went into town one day on the bus (about 5 US to get into town, the bus people will try and rip you off because your being picked up a resort but its still cheap and its nice to get off the resort) you just go to the gates of the resort and wait maybe 5 mins max (Air Canada tried to tell us we would be waiting half an hour for a bus because they wanted us to use them) but its a short wait and they will take you where you want to go and pick you back up. Its very safe to walk around the town and the bus system is easy to use. We went to town and another beach. It was really cool to see the island. We were upgraded to a ocean front room which was breath taking. We could hear the ocean at night even over the air conditioner and it was lovely. Very clean rooms and the room service was good. I only have a few complaints: 1. If you are younger and enjoy staying up late and/or partying I would maybe suggest picking a different resort. My finance and I are 23, while we don't like to party we do like staying up late and drinking while on vacation and only one bar is open until 1am and its not near the ocean so that was disappointing. This resort is much more catered to older people, which is fine just something to keep in mind. The pool closed at 6pm which we thought was really stupid because its light outside until around 7pm and even then there is lights around the pool. There isnt a lot to do after 6pm here so having the pool open later would have been really nice. (pool bar also closed at 6pm) 2. Lunch. The food at lunch was okay. Nothing special but not terrible. I think it would be really beneficial to either put screens up where lunch is served or to move it to where breakfast and dinner is served. There were TONS of flys at lunch. It was gross and annoying to have flys landing on your food while your eating it. There was also supposed to be afternoon sandwiches and cakes but when we went there was only one type of sandwich and no cakes. 3. Times. I felt like the timing of everything was all around weird. Breakfast ended at 9 which I find is quite early considering not everyone wakes up early and not everyone is hungry as soon as they wake up. If you miss breakfast you have to wait until 12:45 for lunch so that's a pretty big gap. Lunch ends at 2:45 and even though the grill was supposed to be open until 6pm, every time we went by there was nobody at the grill. Dinner is served from 6:30pm until 9:30pm which again, if you eat lunch at 2:45 you have to wait until 6:30 to eat again. I think the times should be extended as having gaps with no snacks between meals doesn't work for everyone. I know a lot of the time I was starving waiting for dinner. The food at breakfast was perfect and dinner was good as well! The staff seemed to rush us a bit even though it was quite when we went. (87 people at the entire resort) we would go up for seconds and when we return to our table all of our stuff had been cleared away so we would have to sit somewhere else, this happened more than once. As well as a few times they would try to take our plates away even though they had food on them because we were talking. The staff was not that friendly when we went, they seemed like they didn't care at all but that could be because the resort was closing in a week. Also; they have ice cream at lunch and dinner but they will not tell you this, you have to ask for it. We only knew because we saw someone else had it and when we asked for it, we got it. It was really good so I wish they had told us it was available since it was at the end of the trip we realized they had it. Not really a complaint but more of suggestion; clean up the big pond in the middle. Would be nice if it was clean (it smells a bit) and you could see fish in it or other animals as well as maybe plant some flowers around it. You have this nice walking trail around the pond but its not that nice to look at. I enjoyed the open space and feel it would be perfect if it was just cleaned up a bit. Other than a few very minor complaints we loved this resort and would come back for sure. The beaches were so beautiful and the weather was grand! We are looking forward to seeing what the prices are and what upgrades have been made when they reopen December 2019. Read less

Great location in proximity to the airport about 5 minutes drive. Right on the beach. All inclusion if you choose or pay for your dinner at the restaurant which is what I did. I got upgraded to beachfront which was nice.
