There's several issues. Front desk and otber staff needs a refresher course on customer service. Front desk said we have a fridge in the room, there was not. We were assigned to first floor which we don't feel safe, there was no availability that day to move so we moved the second night. When we asked the next day about moving, front desk didn't seem to know what was going on. Front desk staff didn't communicate with each other. We ate at their italian restaurant. The service was super slow. We were seated at 730pm and entree arrived around 9pm. The pasta didn't taste good. We only had few bite and left. Two times they lost power. The first one took a while before power came back. The pool is closed on the first day due to treatment. Why don't you treat the pool overnight and not during the daytime? The main restaurant doesn't have much choice for breakfast and lunch. They were even hiding the bacon in their kitchen. The food wasn't good at all. The juices, yuck! One time we were about to eat lunch and the plates we got was dirty. There was food particles on it. They only have 3 restaurants, the main buffet which I already told you doesn't have much choices and food was not good. The second is the Italian restaurant, slow service, food not good. The third one, you have to pay for it $37.50. Why would you call your resort All-Inclusive if we have to pay for the other restaurant? I bet it won't taste any better. We were hungry around 6pm on our first day but there was nowhere to get food. Restaurant starts dinner at 7pm. The deli is closed so as the burger place by the beach. For an All-Inclusive you should have access to food anytime. I once asked for rice during breakfast because the choices was not good, the waiter laughed at me. So I asked there's not much choices I can eat here for breakfast, do you have a bacon at least? He said he will give me bacon. Why would they hide bacon in the kitchen? Thats's ghetto right? The second day, I asked again. Three people saw I was given a bacon and no one knew they can ask for it so at least those three people that saw me, asked for some too. This place is cheap! Even the nightly entertainment is clearly low-budget. Their beach is across the street so everytime we cross, there's always guys outside asking us if we want some marijuana. Are you serious? There was one guy asking for money. Why can't the hotel regulate that? We don't feel safe at this property. Our first night, the street was loud with some music, we couldn't sleep. It was horrible experience. Hotels.com tried contacting them for compensation and the manager declined to give any compensation. This is not a 3 star hotel. This hotel doesn't even deserve 1 star. My room was a big room and the housekeeping was good, the people that played the games and entertainment was very friendly but the hotel staff was not friendly at all the people behind the front desk terrible, the food was the same food day after day no kind of American food and it was cold is hell everyday you have to cross the street to go the beach and you have people trying to sell stuff to you as you walking across the street and if you wanted to walk along the beach at night you couldn't because it close at a certain time because it's across the street, I got up early morning to go out to smoke a cigarette and find there no one guarding the entrance and exit and didn't see anyone at the front desk until a certain time and the front entrance don't have a gate they just lift this stick up to let you in and out so who to say someone just not going to walk in off the street because the entrance is right by the street, and if you have kids this is not the place to come there is nothing for them to do but swim I seen no activity for kids this is more like a quiet getaway for you and your companion, after 10:00 there is nothing to snack on or do, they have a disco club but I didn't even waste my time going there, the people on the street are partying all night on the street if you on a certain part of the hotel you will here them, the staff don't say good morning or good night they only there to do there job not friendly at all on my stay there because I'm a friendly person but just couldn't get them to open up, I stayed other places in Jamaica and they were real friendly so I assume they all is like that not at Seagarden Resort I would never ever stay here again because I like to be around friendly people if I say good morning you could say it back and that's my view of this place😟😟😟 Read less

I recently visited the Sea Garden Inn with my sister, and we are so grateful and thankful for the trip. The staff made the stay worthwhile, as there are not too many places you can go that leave such a great impact. From the manager Michele who was always attentive, to Cameron at the front desk, we felt welcomed for sure. Akeem and Donna also made breakfast enjoyable and pleasant daily and were amazing! The food was fresh, tasty and there was a great deal of variety. Jerome, Oshinr, Linton, and Jason were amazing bar porters and bartenders and kept us engaged and laughing. Kevin provided excellent transportation and went the extra mile for us for each trip-truly a gem. The Sea Garden is everything you need. The accommodations are comfortable and the people are friendly. This is the place to stay with a relaxed, real world environment. This place is also locally owned, so this made our stay extra special. We will definitely be returning! Ali, Minnesota Aug 2019 Read less

After staying at two other more modern, 'name brand' all inclusive resorts in Montego Bay on previous trips I can assuredly say that the SeaGarden has been the better experience. They have done a great job of maintaining the property considering it's age. Our room in the 400-block was huge, cool and clean. The beach layout is perfect for our taste; more natural and relaxed. But the food is the best part of the place. What they lack in choice compared to the bigger resorts, they make up for in quality. Every meal. Plus the grill at the beach was a great spot for a burger (or chicken/pork) and fries. They staff was great as well, every one of them. Lastly, the location is walking distance to the Hip Strip (shopping, Starbucks and more.) We will definitely make this our first choice for future trips. Read less
