Having been to Now Jade on multiple occasions, we wanted to venture to their sister resort as we heard good things about it (and plus we got one hell of a deal). Let me be clear, we had high expectations based off of our awesome experiences at Now Jade so when we arrived at the resort, we were disappointed. You may be wondering why I rated this a 4 out of 5 so here is what I can say about it: We shouldn’t have set our expectations to that of Now Jade because they are two different type of resorts. This resort had many pros which help give it a high rating. Those would be the following: Pros: Staff- Everyone was amazing and accommodating especially since we were traveling with two boys under 2. Specula shout out to Alberto at Market Cafe as he was very accommodating and always treated us with a smile and interacted with both our boys at breakfast and once for lunch. Francisco at the pool bar made sure my wife and mine Yeti’s were always filled. Alfonso at Cibu was very kind and patient when we sat down for a semi nice dinner. Pool- Very large and never felt crowded Grounds- Since we were up very early, we walked our boys around and they enjoyed the wildlife around the property. Room Service- whenever we needed something, they were right there as quickly as possible. We also ordered room service and it was delivered quicker than what we expected and the food was delicious Cons: Room- Because we had high expectations, the rooms fell short due to the lesser quality in size and modernization as to those of Now Jade. In summary, if you are looking for a quick get away (with no kids) and the price is right, this is your resort. Although the rooms were average, you would hardly be in them as they would be use to sleep and recharge for the next day. For us, we valued the rooms very high due to spending more time in them. The beach was well kept and workers did a great job with removing the seaweed on a daily basis. Read less

Everything was fantastic. The staff by far exceeded any other resort I've been too. We were treated like royalty from beginning to end from the friendless staff I've ever encountered. The food was great presented with fun and you can talk that everyone takes great pride on what they do. Will ho bacckkkkkkkk

The room was spotless clean everyday, the food was terrific, the drinks were delicious, the pool was amazing, the beach was great. Yes, there is a little sea weed but it’s nothing that would ruin your vacation. They always made sure to have different and fun entertainment each night which made it more exciting. Overall, DONT listen to the people who are giving this place bad reviews and go to Now Sapphire if it is one of your options for a trip!!! Read less

We have been to a number of all-inclusive hotels. This is, hands-down, the best. It starts with the staff. Whether servers, pool staff or gardeners you are invariably greeted with a smile and a "Hola!". We suspect that is because management treats them well Now, the food. The general rule at the other all-inclusive we have stayed at is that you generally eat at the buffet, and they have a couple of restaurants that you can book - generally for just one meal. Not here: There are half a dozen restaurants to choose from (with one exception without reservations) and you can eat at any of them as often as you like (if there is a line-up most have "beepers" to alert you when there is space). The hotel is well thought-out and very well maintained. The nightly entertainment is great. Upgrading: I highly recommend paying for an upgrade. It will get you an ocean-front room, access to the large "adults-only" pool with a bar, a lounge with snacks, your own Concierge, and a separate breakfast dining room. Finally...seaweed. Much of the Caribbean, and the south-east US coast has been beset with a seaweed problem. The hotel does its utmost to clear the seaweed from the beach, but there is always some close to shore. Depending on the day, you can usually get by it about 20 feet out into the water - where the warm Caribbean water is most pleasantly warm. We swam there a number of times. Read less
