The Landings Resort & Spa by Elegant Hotels

St Lucia, Caribbean

The hotel

The Landings’ signature cocktail sums up this deliciously decadent hotel, ‘Sweet Euphoria’. An all-villa resort, it delivers moments like kicking off your shoes and sinking your feet into the sand at Callaloo Beach Bar & Grill — just one of its five bars and restaurants — or soaking up views of its private marina or Rodney Bay as you stretch out on your suite’s terrace; or letting the world drift by as you relax in its three pools, two hot tubs, sweeping sandy beach, and luxury spa and fitness club. Little guests have not been forgotten either — they can create memories of picnic trips to Pigeon Island, sand sculpting, and fishing by the bay at their kids’ club. Just remember, Rodney Bay Village is only 10 minutes’ drive away if you can bear to tear yourself from The Landings’ luxury.

Breakfast was plentiful and very good. The beach is fabulous and clean. Pool a little small but great for little ones. Only downside would be choice of restaurants if you weren’t prepared to go into town. But what we did have was very nice. Lovely hotel just a little out of town but perfect for families. Read less

We stayed at the Landings in 2011, when part of it was still under construction, because we got an excellent price. We loved it then, and said we would like to return. We returned last month, and it was fantastic! The location on the beach is excellent, accomodations are first class, amenities are superb. What more can I say?

Not only did the staff exceed our expectations for all the ordinary vacation needs, they went over the top when one member of our party fell ill. Extraordinary care and attention to the smallest need. It made our vacation! Of course, the location is ideal - close enough to outstanding restaurants and shops but removed enough from the tourist scene to make you feel like you are truly on an island in the middle of the West Indies! I would honestly give The Landings between a 3.5-3.8...but, not a 4. Our room was amazing and had a beautiful view...but, we paid for it. I would honestly give The Landings between a 3.5-3.8...but, not a 4. Our room was amazing and had a beautiful view...but, we paid for it. And, we noted during our stay, that the majority of the rooms did not appear to have great views. The Pros: - The beach is beautiful and you don’t have to rush for chairs - Most of the staff is lovely and very accommodating...at check in, Chef George, our butler, concierge services, spa, etc... - The room sizes for families are great and having a kitchen is a definite plus - Local taxi service was great...head to Pigeon Island for dinner that is close by. The Cons: - The staff that isn’t lovely....is very much the opposite...in the towel/water sports hut, certain restaurant employees, etc...won’t make eye contact and look annoyed that you are even there or if you ask for something. - Housekeeping is very hit or miss....we didn’t have our amenities replaced for the entire week we were there and had to call almost every day for service when we had been gone for hours. - When corporate functions are being hosted it does dominate the resort and you will hear their functions inside your rooms :-) - Far from airport on winding roads - 90-120 minutes depending on accidents. Take motion sickness medication if this is an issue for members of your party Read less

Our 2nd time to be at the Landings. The staff is so friendly and courteous. Our entire family was so satisfied. The separate bedrooms were very nice, and the kitchen and dining room we used daily. Someday, we hope to return.
