The Landings Resort & Spa by Elegant Hotels

St Lucia, Caribbean

The hotel

The Landings’ signature cocktail sums up this deliciously decadent hotel, ‘Sweet Euphoria’. An all-villa resort, it delivers moments like kicking off your shoes and sinking your feet into the sand at Callaloo Beach Bar & Grill — just one of its five bars and restaurants — or soaking up views of its private marina or Rodney Bay as you stretch out on your suite’s terrace; or letting the world drift by as you relax in its three pools, two hot tubs, sweeping sandy beach, and luxury spa and fitness club. Little guests have not been forgotten either — they can create memories of picnic trips to Pigeon Island, sand sculpting, and fishing by the bay at their kids’ club. Just remember, Rodney Bay Village is only 10 minutes’ drive away if you can bear to tear yourself from The Landings’ luxury.

What an exceptional resort! We chose The Landings to celebrate our 10 year anniversary, and they did not disappoint! The service was impeccable! The room was gorgeous! Ianna at the concierges went way above and beyond to surprise us with a special treat in our room! My wife and I will definitely be back.

Orphiela,Flavia,Stella,Amanda,Biancia and Lee made our stay wonderful. The bar tender Elijah made us a special drink of juice's for the kids and one for the adults both where so good. Chef George at Calloos was amazing the food, the vibe he was rocking the beach the few days he was openl. Why I give only 3 stars you ask? The entertainment is extremely limited (only 2 nights) the dining is also extremely limited basically 1 place to eat all your meals at the Beach club and its ok but pricey. It is a 90 minute drive from the airport. Our driver Desley was very good and became a friend he works out of the hotel. Advice to the food & beverage manager as well as the General manager as a guest I do not care if July & August are your slow months as a customer this is my vacation time you need to give the guests what we are paying for. The fix is simple some more nightly entertainment and open Calloos for lunch and dinner. As a family we ate in town 4 nights and 3 lunches we spent over $800 US for meals. Your being penny wise and dollar foolish by cutting back. We had a very good time in St. Lucia the Landings and its staff are wonderful. The choices are Very LIMITED when it comes to food and entertainment during July & August. Read less

The Good: The rooms are huge! We had a two bedroom 2.5 bath just for the two of us. A/C works great. The washer and dryer were a big selling point. Breakfast buffet is good and staff there is probably the friendliest on the property. The beach is quite nice. Calm and blue water. Paddle boards, catamarans and life jackets are provided free of charge. Close to Rodney Bay where other food options are available. Probably a 5-10 minute drive. The Bad: Concierge barely stays open. I know we visited during their slower season, but I feel like that’s something that should always be available to the guests. The commissary was closed the entire time we were there. Lol. The Palms restaurant, best food option on the property, only opened on Thurs, Fri and Sun. The staff handling beach equipments seemed angry most of the times. I understand this is a family resort and they probably have to deal with a lot of kids and crazy parents with wild expectations, but they could use a little smile. We also asked the front desk for a wake up call in the morning just so we wouldn’t miss our flight. The call never came. 🤷‍♂️😆 All in all, this is a decent property. It’s great for families with children. Not great if you’re on your honeymoon. There are just little things here and there that could be improved on the management side. Read less
