Bequia Beach Hotel

St Vincent and the Grenadines, Caribbean

The hotel

Your unspoilt slice of paradise, Bequia is rustic yet refined, and remote yet reachable. A complete one-off, the hotel’s filled with the owner’s travel mementoes, has unparalleled views of distant Grenadine islands, and brings you unforgettable dining by the beach at Bagatelle.

We were touched by each and every one of the staff, as they took amazing care of us! The food was delicious, highlighted by the incredible breakfasts of fresh local fruits and fresh pressed juices! They even made us homemade gluten-free bread. The location was ideal, close to town and just over the hill from Jack's Beach Bar set on another gorgeous beach. Cannot recommend this resort enough, we will be back! Read less

Our third time visiting this resort. It was a bit different this time due to COVID. The hotel was near empty, but that was actually a plus in some ways because we were looking for a quiet relaxing time, and the hotel did not disappoint. Because of the low occupancy, only one restaurant was open, and usually one bar. Food was beautifully prepared and presented, which can be challenging for any chef when there are so few clients. The newish addition of exchange priviledges at Jack's Bar on Princess Margaret beach (on the all inclusive plan) was a nice bonus. Food and drinks there are excellent! Try the passionfruit mojito! The owner has been busy over the past pandemic year with renovations; a gorgeous new poolside bathroom, a tree swing, repaired beach palapas, a refurbished beach bar/grill and a lovely new infinity pool close to the beach. The staff are still welcoming and helpful. We had a totally wonderful time and we look forward to returning. Read less

From the luxurious gardens, very spacious rooms tastefully decorated to the utter professionalism of the front desk team, the bar tender and the guest service manager, it was indeed a total treat. The place is nestled on the Friendship bay side of the island and its pristine beach. The hotel has 3 swimming pools, as spa, a gym, several restaurants (one facing the beach) and possibly the best hotel staff I have encountered in a long time. Despite the various Covid-related restrictions we had to comply with, the hotel team managed to make our stay as relaxing and pleasant as one could have hoped. I would go back. Read less

We won't repeat all of the wonderful reviews, for they are all true...believe every word. If you are looking for a unique place that takes your health and welfare seriously, looks to make sure you enjoy your stay everyday, and works to have you be a return guest...look no further. Of course it doesn't hurt that it is found in one of the most beautifully unspoilt islands in the Carribean. We should only hope that it too won't be ruined by contrived opportunism, inauthenticity and self-indulgence like so many other places. We will return...many thanks to all at BBH. Read less
