Very unique hotel designed by Bill Bensley reflecting the local heritage of tin mining, with a collection of sculptures around the property and its very own mini art gallery. Accommodation, Food, Staff and Service were excellent. Close to beach with some lovely local restaurants specialising in fish.

We only stayed 3 days/2 nights but what a fabulous 3 days it was the whole ambience of the hotel, well kept grounds restraunts with impeccable food wether it being breakfast or a fabulous meal at the Black ginger restraunt, we opted for the Black Ginger experience there and Wow what a experience it was the food was out of this world. The staff went above and beyond to meet any requirements they were all so friendly and happy nothing was too much trouble for them it was all the little personal touches that made this hotel stand out from all the places we had stayed during our 3 weeks of travelling around Thailand. Our room was absolutely stunning and spacious the bed was so comfortable felt so special staying here couldn't of asked for anything more would like to say a massive thankyou to each and every member of the whole team for making our stay with you amazing finishing our trip to Thailand on a high. This is a wonderful hotel within easy reach of the airport, but with no air traffic noise. We had a fantastic experience here. The staff are really what makes the place so special they are so kind and will do anything for you to make your stay perfect. An issue with the air conditioning in our room was swiftly dealt with and to our complete satisfaction thanks to the wonderful Noi in reception, thank you again Noi you are a true asset to the hotel. Breakfast was an amazing experience, plenty of different choices for all tastes and once again the staff led by the lovely Sue were superb. During our stay here we were fortunate to meet William the manager of the hotel, we had a few chats with him and told him how much we were enjoying our stay, William was genuinely interested in how things were going and it was nice to see him interacting with his guests a nice personal touch and a very nice man too, thank you William. We only used one pool while we were there but we were well looked after with ice cold water and fresh fruit by Boy and Chocco they are great. It was nice to see the 30minute sunbed blocking rule enforced too, well done. Overall our stay was excellent and we look forward to seeing everyone at the slate again soon. Thank you all for your hospitality. Nick and Sharon (3230). Read less
