The hotel

A luxurious, landmark waterfront hotel, Westin ensures your every comfort is met at the Harbour Castle. Beautifully appointed guest rooms with Westin’s signature Heavenly Bed and Bath offer a welcome retreat at the end of a busy day spent sightseeing. There’s also a heated indoor swimming pool in which to wallow and the WESTIN Workout Gym, overlooking the picturesque Toronto Islands — enough to inspire anyone to take to the treadmill! Afterwards, recline in the whirlpool or, if you’ve still energy to spare, perhaps a game of tennis or squash may tempt you. There are plenty of restaurants close by but highly recommended are both the hotel’s eateries. The Mizzen serves exquisite à la carte dishes alongside a very tempting buffet. The SuperFoods menu features revitalizing dishes made from healthy ingredients rich in nutrients, antioxidants and delicious taste so you can feel energized and at your best all day. If you're looking for something a bit more chilled, retire to the Chartroom Bar and Lounge where you can grab a local brew and a range of dishes, throughout the day.

I went to a convention in March and the hotel was in terrible condition upon arrive on Thursday , everything felt or was already broken and the elevators were always full or not functional. Multiple times a day I had to climb the stairs all the way up to my room on the 27th floor, It was super exhausting.

Yet again the Westin Harbor Castle provided the perfect venue for Furnal Equinox. (Other than the elevator lines, but nothing that could have been done with the sheer volume of ppl) Staff are on point and always there essential on the spot for you. Especially the gentlemen working the checked luggage on the Saturday night and Sunday. They were hustling hard The building itself is beautiful and immaculate with tons of space. I have been there three seperate times and I still find more to it. Location is great stuff is with in more than reasonable distance so yeah. I've stayed tons of hotels and worked acouple and still Westin harbor is still one of my favs. Congrats and hope to see you next year Read less

We were greeted by a lovely friendly receptionist who asked why we were visiting Toronto. We explained that this was the last stop on our trip and that during our trip we celebrated our wedding anniversary. She gave us a room upgrade to a newly refurnished room on the 31st floor overlooking the lake and Toronto Island. The room was amazing and had the best view over the lake. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for an extremely comfortable stay. Having gone out to explore we came back to a lovely surprise of a plate filled with sweet treats, fruit and a bottle of wine to share and a lovely card wishing us a happy anniversary. It was a lovely surprise and we really enjoyed it. We loved the room so much we didn't want to leave. It is one of the best rooms we have stayed in. We loved watching the ferry going backwards and forwards to the island and the planes going into and out of the city airport. It was amazing to see across the lake and see buildings on the other side that we had never seen before. We highly recommend this hotel and we will be back I am sure. Read less

I had an absolutely amazing staycation at the Westin Hotel! As a loyal member, I was upgraded to a spacious corner suite with a beautiful view of Lake Ontario. The family room suite was perfect for me with two connected rooms. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, taking the time to introduce me to all the hotel amenities. The bedding was so comfortable that I slept so well and the bathroom and mini bar were spotless. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of Downtown Toronto and within walking distance of the harbor front and ferry pier to Center Island. To top it all off, the room service was efficient and the staff was super friendly. As a loyalty member, I also enjoyed a complimentary buffet breakfast at the lobby restaurant, Mizzen. It was such a wonderful experience overall! Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating A bit impersonal but great location

The Westin is a super large business travel orientated hotel so things run effectively but without any personal touches that would make guests feel welcomed. Toronto is a pricey city and so is the Westin, nonetheless I would consider it again for a business trip. Read less
