The hotel

Very Vancouver, this downtown delight brings the city’s signature cool styling, upscale-yet-casual lifestyle, and modern dining scene to your door. It might be stylish and spacious — and have free WiFi on tap — but you won’t want to spend much time in your guestroom — not when your feature-filled hotel has distractions like a gym, Life Luxe Spa, and al fresco sun deck with heated pool and hot tub. Giving you a true taste of British Columbia, Hyatt Regency Vancouver’s bars and restaurants feature fresh regional produce, sustainable seafood, local microbrews, home-grown wines, and artisanal cocktails, as well as the less-local Starbucks® for that pre- and post-sightseeing caffeine fix. The location’s very Vancouver too — eating out, shopping, and sightseeing are effortless with downtown favourite Robson Street just blocks away, and Stanley Park’s beaches, cycling, and totem poles a leisurely stroll.

Stayed here with family for spring break for our first trip to Vancouver. This was a great hotel! It was very centrally located, which was important to us because we didn't have a car. There is a McDonald's and Tim hortons right next to the hotel, as well as many restaurants and shops. Close to Robson street and the skytrain. Every hotel staff person was wonderful! We arrived on Easter Sunday and at check in, the hotel staff gave my boys cute little bunny bags - such a thoughtful gesture! At guest services, I was inquiring about transportation, and the guy gave my boys Inuit figures and coupons to the Capillano suspension bridge. There is a free bus shuttle to the bridge right from the hotel. The room was nice and clean. Overall would definitely come back and stay here again! Read less

I highly recommend this hotel. I've been attending conventions here for the last 18 years and have never had a bad experience. All the staff are very helpful. The facility is clean and well maintained. The food is great.

Stayed here for a recent conference. It was pretty much the usual good quality downtown business travel hotel. Nothing special for tourists, and kids would probably be bored, but it worked very well for my needs. The breakfast is way too expensive for what you get - go to Tim Horton's in the mall just outside the front lobby for something more… Read more

Staff was super helpful and responsive! They helped to provide adjoining rooms which added to our special trip. The rooms were spacious and clean as well. The staff downstairs were very cheerful and happy to assist with whatever was needed.

Centrally located, clean, well taken care of, around everything. Rode Canada line in from airport which is an easy 2 block walk. Don't even need a car! There is also a Starbucks in the lobby which makes getting a coffee in the morning super easy.
