There are many "eyesores", like the sign above the pool bar which welcomes you to the pool area is broken/missing, and all kinds of other things that need routine maintenance. The staff and the food/beverage were really good however, and the rooms seemed clean enough. I wouldn't necessarily choose to stay here again, but if I had to, it would be fine for a night or two. If you are looking to stay longer, choose somewhere else. It's very close to the airport and it's fun to see the planes come and go. Read less

I would like to rate this hotel higher as the location is great, we had excellent servers for both dinner and breakfast with good food at each, and the king suite was huge with a lovely panoramic view. But as many other reviewers have noted; the facility needs better care, a serious update and structural renovations. The carpets in the hallways are stained, the bedroom and bathroom need repainting with new calking in the bathroom and the ambience is just too stark for vibrant Miami. The problem with my suggestions is that to implement them would entail significant revenue loss during renovations and would probably result in higher prices afterwards. Still, it would be a treat to deboard a plane and enter a fresh hotel with a suite that feels and looks squeaky clean, esthetically pleasing and up to date. Read less

Terrible service. They make you wait 45 minutes to check in. The app doesn’t work saying that you can access your room from the app. Total joke. Would go elsewhere and pay 300 dollars. If you don’t have enough workers to support your clientele then just shut down!

It’s a great place to leave your car because we drive over from Fort Myers to catch a direct flight here from the Miami international airport. Then when we return, we stay the night we come back, and we have our car here and can leave in the morning. It’s very convenient for us. We haven’t found anything that has been as easy. Regarding the Hotel staff, we really love the esprit de Corps from several of the members of the Hilton team. We use the convenience of airport shuttle service (free) and today Yasbel picked us up and delivered us to hotel. Great tips on best times to ‘hit the road’ to providing other shuttle services to nearby locations that save us from getting our car out. He was so kind to take me to a shop to buy some necessities I needed. I felt safe and cared for professionally as well as courteous. Then a drink at the bar where a curated makers Mark bourbon and soda . He has been a stable element of our stay; It can’t be adjusted something doesn’t work right. Our room temperature is onecomplaint Our only hope is that and came We arrived at 72F ; turned heat on to 76 and came back to a 67° room 76 Read less

I have stayed at a variety of Hilton hotels , this was by far the WORST experience I have EVER had at any hotel in my life. It started with the airport “shuttle service” , we were told they had the shuttle from the airport ran every half hour. We had a late flight and an 18 month old child with us. After waiting for approximately 1 hour and 12 min , we were told by the shuttle driver that the other driver they usually have, was not working and they only had one driver this day instead of the normal two. After check in the room they gave us had no air conditioning, and the room was about 85 degrees as it was almost summer time in Miami. After two calls to the front desk we were told the maintenance guy would be up shortly to “fix” the air conditioner , keep in mind it’s 11:00pm and we have a toddler with us. After 25 minutes, I went to the front desk and was again told the maintenance guy would be up shortly. After another 20 minutes I went back to the front desk and asked for another room. I was told they were fully booked and there wasn’t another room for us. After nearly an hour from check in the maintenance people came and got the air fixed. The next day we had arranged for the hotel shuttle to take us to the cruise ship. After breakfast we checked the time the shuttle ran and was told around 12:30, check out was 11:00am, I inquired at the front desk if we could wait in our room until 12:00pm since we had children with us and didn’t have anywhere to go until the shuttle ran , I was again told no that wasn’t possible. So we had to have kids , luggage , and ourselves in the lobby for an hour and a half with not even sitting room. I asked for a discount on our room for the prior incident with the air conditioner and was told no, that they simply would not do that. I have never been treated so rudely by any hotel in my life and would NEVER revisit this awful place. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone ever. Read less
