I'm out of ideas and extremely frustrated. I will continue to post about this experience on every social media platform and travel website I can find until someone from corporate contacts me and takes this seriously. A few other things, walls are very thin and hard to sleep. You hear everything in the hallways. On a positive note food is quite affordable in the cafe compared to most places I have stayed. Wow what an amazing place! We were a little apprehensive after seeing some previous reviews but we really shouldn’t have worried! We arrived at the end of march for a 15 night stay and we lived every minute of our holiday. The lobby area is fab and buzzing with excitement, the rooms are spacious and very clean and plenty big enough for 2 adults and 1 pre teen. The food and drink in the food hall is ok, not amazing but it’s was ok 👍🏻 the public areas / toilets were absolutely spotless! We had a drink at the sunset bar almost every night after a day at one of the universal or Disney parks and it was lovely…… only thing I would say is to try snd separate the bar from the lobby area slightly to make this more chilled and cosy! Our daughter loved the Starbucks in the lobby and often raced back in time to catch them before they closed at 10pm. The staff were all friendly, despite having to deal with some very rude guests, which I witnessed several times! The pool areas are really lovely and we often used this in the mornings before hitting the parks in the afternoon or vice versa ☺️ Overall we had an amazing holiday and we cannot wait to return! Stayed for a week here as a family of 3. The hotel is spacious and clean throughout. Check-in was great. Generally, facilities on site are really good. On-site restaurant in the morning are manned really well. However, in the evenings when still busy, it's hardly manned and takes ages to pay. Tables are not cleaned. Eat elsewhere. The other issue is that all the rooms have hard floors. This means that everything echoes. It got so bad my wife had to complain to security twice in the early hours of the morning. Read less

We've stayed at this hotel several times, and always love being there. They have a fun and helpful staff, great (and clean!) rooms, huge TVs in the rooms (with some great movies and channels), and frequent shuttles to Universal's theme parks. The beds are comfy. Views overlooking the pool are really nice, as is the Orlando skyline from the other side of the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel is a little pricey, but convenient. There's a fitness room, and a games room, plus a wonderful shop near the lobby. Parking is convenient and secure. And a BIG plus is being able to get into Universal's theme parks earlier than non-hotel guests do. (Tip: If you're there for the Harry Potter attractions, rush to that part of Islands of Adventure as soon as you enter the park. The line for Hagrid's ride gets long in a hurry!) Note: Nearby, the Surfside Inn & Suites is okay, and part of Universal's Endless Summer resorts, but it's not nearly as nice as Dockside. I'd still recommend it over many other hotels on nearby I-Drive, but... Well, stay at Dockside if you can. It's our #1 favorite if you're going to Universal, and are on a budget. Read less
