Aloft Boston Seaport District

Boston, USA

Virgin rating

The hotel

Bang on trend, this hotel’s industrial-meets-chic styling is completely in keeping with its neighbourhood, the fast-flourishing Seaport district. Its spot in this trendy borough’s pretty enviable too, just across the road from its coolest hangout space, Lawn on D, which hosts food trucks, live events, and free yard games and WiFi. Inside the hotel there's plenty to offer too, a suitably contemporary indoor pool space,  live entertainment at D's Keys Dueling Piano Bar or W XYZ Bar, and 24-hour dining and fitness - ideal whatever time you return from exploring Boston’s most famous attractions. From the Freedom Trail to the shopping around Faneuil Hall, the city’s biggest draws are all within a couple of miles.

Absolutely loves this hotel! David and Natasha were the nicest people! The attached restaurant has some REALLY good food and drinks. The room view was so cool! Will definitely stay here the next time I'm in Boston. Get the OG Breakfast sandwich...they're perfection!

I've found the Aloft a very good value for the area for a convention I attend annually and had a very good check in experience with Svet, who was not only able to get me in my room early, but also helped me with the mobile app to access my room without having to have my key card on me. The room was very relaxing and comfortable. However, there's a 1 inch gap at the bottom of the shower door that the water always tends to find it's way out of, even if I have the shower head pointed away from, which means another towel goes down to sop that up. Also, I decided to use the pool there, as the convention I was at had me on my feet for almost every minute I was in the BCEC and thought a swim would be good for my sore muscles. Initially, the water was a very good temperature and since it was salt and not chlorine, the smell was easy going and not astringent. After about 15 minutes, I found a plastic bottle cap float towards me, then a rainbow sticker on the wall of the pool. I decided to get out and check it the following day to see if it improved. Unfortunately, there was more debris in the pool; mostly paper towels, which was a nope on the pool for the rest of my stay. I definitely recommend to stay for the sleep, but not for the pool. Will definitely come back, in large part thanks to Jody’s sincere and genuine hospitality! Read less

Staff were great! David at the hotel desk did a great job of taking care of us due to he couldn’t find our reservation. He took the time and made sure we got a room. We were so grateful since we had been traveling all day. That was customer service will help us in making our decision on where we stay in the future
