When we checked in, the only words that were uttered by the attendant were “ID, credit card, you’re in room 3024”. He did not tell us about any amenities or even point us in the direction of the elevator. I asked him what restaurants were in the hotel and he told me to go ask the concierge. From what I gathered, there were only two. I don’t know why he couldn’t tell me that. I assumed there would be a book in the room with wifi instructions, a map of the property, a list of amenities and restaurants, etc. There was not. When I tried to log in to wifi, there was a message that said the cost was $15.95/day. I have no idea what the destination fee is for since the hotel wants to charge for wifi. Since there is no “front desk” button on the phone, I ended up going downstairs and asking the concierge about the wifi. He told me to just log in because it is free for members and I was a member. Why isn’t it free for everyone??? What I did find in my room was a dirty qtip on the floor by a trash can, a dirty glass in the bathroom, old drab bath robes and a rusty can opener in the refrigerator. Clearly, housekeeping is not very thorough and I did not see any modern appointments except for maybe the bathroom door. And don’t expect any extras like slippers, vanity kits or shower caps. The only thing you find in your room is soap. Don’t expect anything special by being a member. I have been a member for many years and I was stuck next to the housekeeping closet. Perhaps these should be reserved for people booking through third parties and not long time members. I would stay far away from Ingredients unless you don’t mind that the cashier rubs his bald head with his hand and then handles your food. There are nicer hotels than this in Boston that charge less. When I answered the survey that the hotel sent me, the only response I received was the canned response of We’re sorry we didn’t meet your expectations. We hope you give us another try. Why would I subject myself to another terrible stay? Read less

The gym is large with quality equipment and the Westin Club has a nice view and super nice staff. Irene is a quality representative for the hotel and brand - a consummate professional. Room was a good size, bed was very comfortable and the sofa area was comfy and practical at the same time. The table was stylish, if you expect a desk you might want to ask as the table is inadequate as a working surface. Kudos for hosting the MUNC for the teenagers, nice to see them enjoying themselves. Quality location with easy access to transit, Amtrak and nice neighbourhoods. Improvements to be made in room amenities, our room keys stopped working even though we had late checkout which was an inconvenience and surprising. Really nice waiter from Turkey in the hotel restaurant - thank you! Read less

We love this hotel, we live in Florida and for the last 13 years we have been coming to Boston at least twice a year and mostly in the fall to enjoy the weather, for the first couple of years we stayed at another Marriot hotel that we thought it was a good place, until about 3 years ago we decided to switch hotels, mainly because of the locations and the places we like to go, so we decided to stay here at the Westin Copley and oh boy did we like it ? We loved it, the rooms are beautiful, spacious and super clean, the views from the rooms are amazing, every single person that works here are always very kind and friendly, but I do have to say we have our favorite person here, if you go to the executive lounge for breakfast you’ll be greeted by the most wonderful, kind, sweet and friendly person ever, her name is Irene and we all love her, I’m talking from my kids, my husband, my mother in law and myself, we have had all the pleasure of meeting her in different occasions and we all agreed that everyone should be more like Irene, always happy, smiling, welcoming, friendly, she definitely knows how to treat the guests and makes us feel like if we are really at home. We actually just got back 2 days ago from Boston, of course we stayed here and we were so glad and happy to see Irene in the executive lounge when we down for my coffee and she was as sweet and friendly as we remembered her. Long story short, we love the Westin Hotel at Copley, this is our all time favorite hotel to stay while in Boston and we also love Irene, every company should have an Irene!!! Read less

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a good time. Read less

This place is awesome. Whenever I’m scheduled for a Westin stay, I look forward to it, and am never disappointed. These rooms are spacious and soothing. Undoubtedly due to a commitment to uphold their high standards. If only other hotels maintained Westin quality levels.
