Parc 55 San Francisco A Hilton Hotel

Union Square, San Francisco

Virgin rating

The hotel

One for shopaholics and sightseers alike, Parc 55 San Francisco is easy shopping-bag-hauling distance from Union Square — the only question is, do you hit the big-name brands of the nine-storey Westfield mall or the one-of-a-kind boutiques around the square? Its address also puts you a quick hop from Powell Street’s cable car turnaround, Yerba Buena Gardens, and Chinatown. Once you’ve filled your suitcase and your camera’s memory, you can enjoy the locally inspired dishes of Cable 55 (with its equally local microbrews), and Thai treats of Kin Khao.

But when I asked for the receipt, I was told it’ll be emailed to me. Two days and a 12 hour drive back home, I get an email with the parking fee of $75 was on the receipt. I tried to dispute it and gave them every information, but they say that no one ever promised anything of that kind. I gave name and all, but no one remembers. My commander tried talking to the manager but they also gave him the run around. Still fighting that $75 fee!! Read less

Had a wonderful stay at Parc 55. The view from the rooms were incredible and the people that worked there really went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Special thanks to William at the bar, Sheryl, Samantha and Stuart. Thank you guys for your hospitality. We will be back again!

Hotel is okay, i go here every year for a large meeting, this year my booking was done through a third party but i specifically asked to book this hotel. Out of more than 25 choices i had in that list including other Hilton properties. i am a HH member and was refused points for my 4 days stay. The front desk manager kindly told me to take it with the Hilton Honors directly, citing "Terms and conditions" with tthird party booking, Kind of unpleasant reaction as i know Hilton usually does everything to please their guests. Well not at this property. So i had to get to the HH directly to solve the issue. So i guess i will be avoiding this Hilton property for the future trip in January next year and beyond. Read less

Lovely hotel, large rooms, comfy beds and pillows & good bathroom facilities. Good restaurant and reasonably priced meals and drinks. The staff were excellent. This hotel is in a great position for shopping & public transport. Would definitely stay here again 😊
