127 rooms and suites on 3 floors in 1 building. All rooms have balcony/terrace, air-conditioning, cable TV, tea/coffee-making facilities, mini-bar*, fridge, safe and hairdryer. SOL Room Silver with double or twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

All Inclusive Silver: the All Inclusive Silver package includes accommodation in a newly refurbished SOL Room Silver, buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a wide à la carte choices at The Kitchen and Amarta restaurants. Snacks, soft drinks, unlimited local alcoholic beverages in any of the bars, Juice Corner 11:00am-6:00pm and 20% discount on imported drinks. Daily activities, evening entertainment and non-motorised sports. Daily restocking of the mini-bar filled with beer, juices, mineral water and soft drinks.

All Inclusive Gold: in addition to the SOL Junior Room, the All Inclusive Gold package includes accommodation in a newly refurbished Suite and wider selection of à la carte meal options. Special Balinese welcome, upgraded in-room amenities, one bottle of wine on arrival, one romantic dinner for two people (for stays of over 8 nights). 30% discount on imported drinks. SOL Junior Room are larger with a living area, separate guest toilet and spacious balcony, double or twin beds, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

No night shift staffs, No Receptionist, No House keeping. All only available come after 8 AM. Guest are left alone in the hotel at night, at the time when guests are in the hotel. So bad. Even 3 star hotel can do better. Not recommended to stay because it shows they don’t care. If they cannot afford it, they should not take any guest at all.

Due to Covid restrictions we have been unable to travel to Bali. Last year I was able to change the dates of our 3 night all inclusive pre paid stay with no problems at all. The service we received by phone was amazing. This year I tried to call the customer service number and was hung up on 3 times before I could even say hello. When I finally got through the person I spoke to was rude and said that no one could help me on the phone and I had to email through. The email address he gave me was incorrect and bounced back. I then rang Melia Sol Benoa and was given another email address which also bounced back. After 2 more phone calls I finally received an email address that worked. It has now been 6 weeks and the dates I had booked for has been and gone. I have not received a email regarding my request to confirm if it is possible or not to change the dates to next year. I did not think a simple change of dates due to a pandemic would be a hassle especially since we pre paid. Extremely disappointed in this chain of hotels. I did not want to leave this review on TripAdvisor but Melia had left me no option. I am hoping that my review on the lack of communication from this business would warn other people regarding booking with them. Read less

The room is very big, it has 2 bathroom, bed is nice and comfortable, aircon is very cold. Pool towels and bath towels are provided in the room but you have to request for bathroom amenities. The pool is not very big and the water is a bit salty but its quite nice. The beach is awesome and the water is very clear. You can just sit in the garden or chilling on the day bed watching the beach. You can also do watersports here. Breakfast was good, but the first 2 nights, the menu was totally the same. Would recommend to change the menu each day. Overall we had a very good experience here, the staffs are friendly, the hotel atmosphere is calming and the room is nice. Will be back next time. Arrived at 14:00, parking was full nobody at the parking to tell me where to park or even a valet parking. Only one lady behind the reception desk. Then telling me at 14:00 they don’t know about my booking and the room is also not ready. So I had to wait for one hour in the Balinese heat. Of course not even a water offered, not even the complementary welcome drink. Walking around the hotel the disappointment got even bigger. Far away from the pictures! Super old hotel tried to modernize and n a low budget. 15:30 the room finally ready. First room impression very simple. Mini bar empty, no toiletries only one big towel for 2 of us. Booked a buffet dinner starting at 18:00. Very simple as well and on first view far not worth the charge! At 18:15 I got my starter plate, after 15 min rest I wanted to go for main course and it was almost empty! Just leftovers and a had to discuss with the cook to get a few sate skewers. Then the back to the hot room. AC on and nothing happened for 30 min. Meanwhile sweating in my room. Tried to call the reception for another 30 min. Finally someone picked up, I explained my problem and they said someone will come immediately but never arrived! Tired of sweating I felt asleep with open window and fan. Next morning looking forward for the booked “breakfast buffet” again disappointed not seeing any food arranged. Instead got a menu with 5 items. Really hungry took a fee of each. All things arriving was the quality of a really cheap restaurant or even bellow. Nothing you expect from a hotel or a breakfast buffet. At least the cafe latte was ok. Asking for a second one I had to discuss with the waiter again saying only one is included. Nice start in the day. More than happy to checkout now. Of course waiting again. Overall a really bad experience I can not recommend to anybody. It’s waisted money. If your hotel is not ready to server customer then don’t open. Read less
