Walking distance to the beach and plenty of local restaurants, a cvs, ice cream shops and so much more. Their bar/restaurant, Jimmy Gunnas, has a great menu for the whole family. I suggest the grouper sandwhich, fish spread and a rum runner! Nightly live music from great local artists will entertain you on the open air patio deck. There is an 18 hole miniature golf course layed out in the concourse, a fitness room, conference rooms, a pool & hot tub, and a water park all right there. Their rooms are clean, beds are comfy and they offer family suites with full kitchens as well, splurge and get the marina view, I love having my morning coffee watching the sunrise and sometimes being lucky enough to have some dolphins swim by. Stayed for Hockey Tournament. The price is insane - expect a nice NY hotel for the amount paid... rooms were dated... get nothing with your room. The wall paper is coming off the walls in the bathroom, the sink didn't drain, the grout is brown... I didn't even unpack in the room because I felt it was so gross. Our friend had termites in their room. I would never stay at this hotel again. I would rather sleep in my car. I went to the gym and not only has it never been cleaned, it is next to the restaurant kitchen next door... and smells like a shrimp fryer. I had to put towels on the ground to even do basic exercise so didn't touch the floor. My clothes smelled like the smell after being in the room. Weekend prior our team stayed at the Holiday Inn near the rink (Ulmerton) and we had breakfast, rooms were clean and neat... No breakfast at this place. Parking also was difficult. I did not enjoy my stay. However, we were forced to stay here due to the hockey tournament regulations. I considered getting another hotel on top of this one. Read less

Stayed here a few times and this one will probably be our last, mixed feelings about this one. Check in is easy and location is prime, restaurant on site as well as a lot of shops and restaurants in walk able distance. The pics are a bit deceiving, this hotel is old and shows it, paint peeling, crusty corners. As a diamond member was upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite with a wonderful view of the parking lot (eye roll). Room would be nice for long stay since it has a kitchen but would rather have the view than 2 stories of dated yellow walls and ugly furniture. Only has 1 bathroom upstairs and giant closets which are wasted space. Pools are ok and a nice perk for water park tickets for littles but was cold so couldn't really use either. Cost me a lot of points to stay and when asked for a late check out was told no despite that being one of the perks of being a diamond member. You cant ask the night before and when we called down and spoke to Julia in the morning they said they had no more availability which is bs since the hotel is dead and barely anyone was there. Overall not worth the amount of points or $ they charge to stay here, much more nicer hotels in the area. Read less

My wife and I travel quite a bit, so we have a decent frame of reference when it comes to staying at various properties throughout the US. This property ranks as the single most unhealthy property we have ever stayed at, which surprised us because it certainly wasn't cheap. We booked this via a 3rd party site for $1450, and after check-out, assessed another $205, ostensibly billed as a "Resort Fee". Trust me, we know a resort when we see it, and this is no resort. We stayed 6 nights in December, 2023 and upon check-in, given a room on the 2nd floor by Russ, a congenial individual, who also gave us passes to the Water Park (too cold to use), and a complimentary breakfast for 2. The room itself was dark and dingy and smelled like mold, with crappy carpet and poor lighting. It was also pretty small. My wife and I quickly realized we couldn't stay there for 6 nights, so my wife requested an alternative room. The 2nd room was superior to the first (it couldn't have been any worse), had a kitchenette, and was brighter with newer flooring. It was by no means great, but we thought we could make it work. Around day 3 of our stay, I became ill with upper respiratory symptoms, flu like in nature. A day later, I experienced a nasty bout of diarrhea, rendering me tied to the bed and unable to eat or do much else. My wife then became quite ill as well, although thankfully without the stomach/intestinal issues. We were experiencing a reaction to the moldy room and surrounding mold prevalent throughout the property. We made it home feeling ill and fatigued but started feeling better almost immediately following our departure. During our stay, we noticed this property was virtually dead, and it felt like we were almost the only people staying there. It was kind of eerie. To be fair, breakfast was good, and my wife enjoyed a burger at the main restaurant, which was also good. Parking was fine, because we could park anywhere we wanted. Please don't stay at this property and risk getting sick from mold. Believe some of the previous reviews that show the mold and trust me when I say that their web site pictures do not accurately reflect the shabbiness of the property. Read less
