I pre-paid a suite for my family for 3 night stay at the Eden Roc through a travel agent, with confirmation of a prepaid breakfast for my family. However, upon arrival, the hotel informed us that instead of the inclusive breakfast we were promised, we were entitled to a mere $35 credit – an amount woefully insufficient for even the most basic breakfast in Miami. Despite showing them our written confirmation of an inclusive breakfast for my family, the hotel insisted that their policy only offered breakfast for two people with a credit, details which were not communicated clearly and were highly misleading. To put it into perspective, a kids' breakfast of eggs on toast costs $15 at the hotel. The $35 credit barely covered the cost of breakfast for one person, let alone for my entire family. Despite the hotel's offer to increase the credit to €60 per day, this was still inadequate and fell short of what we had prepaid for. It's a complete rip-off and a clear case of false advertising. The discrepancy between the confirmed booking details and what was provided upon arrival, coupled with the unsatisfactory resolution offered by the hotel, left us utterly disappointed and frustrated. The misleading information provided by both the hotel and the travel agency significantly impacted our overall experience and perception of the establishment. I will be escalating a formal complaint regarding this matter, as it is unacceptable to deceive guests in such a manner. Potential guests deserve to know the truth about the services offered by the Eden Roc, and I will ensure that my voice is heard until this issue is properly addressed. Read less

This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Miami. To begin with, check in took over 30 minutes. We were told they could not give us an eta of when the room would be ready. The hotel itself is extremely outdated and when we finally got our room it was dirty and smelt bad. The service is absolutely terrible. We were told there were no chairs left at the pool multiple days and the staff didn’t even make an effort to help us find one. Getting food/ drinks at the pool is nearly impossible. There was one waitress for two pools that never even came up to us despite being there for hours. When we went to the beach, we were told there was a “very long wait” for any food so we gave up. There is construction going on next door and that is all we could hear at the pool. The hotel is insanely expensive. Two Pina coladas cost over $60 and a BOTTLE of orange juice cost $16. For reference we had lunch at 1 Hotel and it was cheaper than what we spent on our lunch at Eden Roc. I tried calling the front desk for more towels multiple times and never got a response. Overall, this hotel is NOT worth the money at all and we regretted staying here. We spoke to a few other girls staying at the hotel who felt the same, yet their story about having a dirty room was even worse. Read less

We stayed at Eden Roc not Nobu but all staff were terrific from the valet, through the front door, in both restaurants, past the pools, ending on the beach. Truly! Nobu was what you expect from Nobu. High class Japanese style food but Ocean Social was on another level completely. We had lunch one day and dinner the next and I will go as far as to say they were two of the best restaurant meals I've had this year. Not to mention we were seated on a deck overlooking Miami Beach. Not too shabby. Salads were remarkable, the steak melted in my mouth, and desert at both lunch and dinner were orgasmic! (Pavlova and Popcorn Cheesecake) If there was one downside it was a constantly flowing cistern in the toilet but once the door was closed we couldn't hear it. Take a sea bath while you're on Miami Beach. The water is clean and you can stand for quite a way out at medium and low tide. As Arnie said: I'll be back! Read less
