Adrianna was great and the view is always amazing. We come here once a year and love it every time! The steak is always cooked perfectly along with the sides being dynamic. The cocktails are also well thought out and great tasting!

The staff around the pool and lazy river, as well as the staff on the beach were very helpful and attentive , always made sure we had everything we needed even when it was busy. Now I will get to the down side. The staff in ocean 2000 left a lot to be desired, the first time I thought it was just a fluke then it kept happening. 20 minutes just to have coffee brought to the table? , then consistently forgot about. Beware of the 22% gratuity charge that is on everything, it adds up and becomes quite a lot! The prices of the drinks must have gone up since we went last because 20$ for a Pina colada......I just can't. For most of our time there we ate at many of the wonderful places in town. It will probably be our last visit, and if we are back again it will only be for a night or two. Read less

Room was nice. The internet was slow and disconnected numerous times each day. This needs to be upgraded badly as it will affect my decision to stay here again. When I say slow it was 15-20 mbps max.

I had heard a lot of good things about this hotel and was excited to go. Overall, it did not live up to expectations. If I go back to Ft. Lauderdale, I will most likely stay somewhere else. When we first arrived, there was a lot of people waiting for their rooms. We had to wait a half hour from checking in with desk to get our room. Not terrible but I would love if I get there at 4 for the room to be ready. I wasn't trying to check in early. The room is very nice and the windows give you a full view of the beach and ocean. I was very happy with the room itself. The view was great. This hotel does have some old hotel issues that are not awful but still annoying. Very weak water pressure in shower., and zero hot water on my first day. They had to send an engineer to my room and he has no idea what he was talking about. He told me the water temp was fine and that they leave it on 68 degrees so people dont get burnt. There is no chance a hotel would do this. I said 68 degrees back to him twice and he confirmed. My first shower was horrible. However, the engineer was wrong and the next day the temp climbed significantly. I found out there was a weeding that day and I'm sure everyone was showering at the same time and the hot water ran out or couldn't keep up. He insisted the luke warm water was as hot as it gets. They have a service team on the beach that you have to use to get chairs, umbrellas, etc. They set everything up which is very nice and of course you have to tip them. I don't mid tipping, in fact I like to do it, but then if you leave your chairs for more then 30 minutes, you lose it all. they clean up and remove your chairs so I was not able to go up for lunch to a cafe I wanted to try. I had to eat on the beach each day. The service guy would not hold my seats when I said I would be at lunch but I'll be back in an hour. They are very understaffed and food/drink service is pretty slow. When my food came out every day, it was cold. It was as if it sat in the window for 15 miuntes or more before being delivered to the table. I don't mind waiting long for food, but only if the food that comes out if hot. You can't put your room temp below 70. Thank god there was a fan because we would have been hot every night. WiFi does not work at all in their restaurant, your phone will just go to SOS and the wifi can;t pick up anything, so your phone is dead. I will say the overall staff is very friendly and had a great attitude. The look of my room and friendliness of all the staff made this a better stay and made up for some of these issues above but they really need to work on a few things. Oh, my rooms bathroom door doesn;t shut all the way so you had to leave it open a couple of inches while you were going to the bathroom. Should be an easy fix. Read less
