My only disappointment was that they wouldn’t honor a second night rate that was offered through a 3rd party provider. And when they provided the limitations of the offer, I was able to provide evidence that I met those limitations. Still they refused to honor the rate and provided me with a discount rate offer that was 100% more than the other rate. Bottom line, they missed out on filling one of their rooms when their hotel wasn’t fully booked and they left a customer feeling less than satisfied. For a $100 they could have created a very satisfied and loyal customer. Read less

We had a great stay with you! The beds seemed a bit small for queen size beds but overall the stay was A+

The valet parking is very convenient and after we dropped the car we didn’t need it again as everything was walkable. The room was nice, spacious, and clean with a fantastic view. The location of the hotel is great for the beach and also for the marina, pier and beach walk. Lots of activity nearby. 2 sunloungers and an umbrella by the beach are included which was ideal. We spent most of our time at the beach. We also went to the pool on 2 of the days for part of the day and didn’t have trouble finding sunloungers (although on arrival day it did look full). There was a handy bar in reception where you could get breakfast (very large pastries $5, yoghurts, fruit etc) if you don’t want to eat in the restaurant or venture out. We didn’t get a chance to eat at the restaurant or try the food at the pool. Would definitely stay here again if coming to Clearwater. Read less

Great location and nice hotel. They could be great if there were a few changes. For instance, the only on-resort options for breakfast were an AYCE buffet or a coffee shop with microwaved sandwiches. It would be great if the restaurant had a menu option for breakfast. The pool area is also very crowded. The hot tub had at least 10 people in it at… Read more

It would be great if the restaurant had a menu option for breakfast. The pool area is also very crowded. The hot tub had at least 10 people in it at all times. I asked about using the steam room and that is not included in the resort fee. You have to pay extra or have an appointment at the spa. Read less

We planned for a 3 night stay at the hotel to coincide with the Sugar Sand Festival. We arrived on Friday night. The rooms are about $500 a night so you expect certain things to be reliable - like the plumbing. However we were making a leisurely start to the day and were still in the hotel room around 9/930 am when the toilet starting making sounds like it was erupting. We head to the bathroom to see dirty toilet water bubbling up and spraying out of the toilet and onto the toilet seat, floor, and surrounding area (did I mention my toothbrush was on the vanity next to the toilet). We wait for it to stop, flush the toilet a few times thinking maybe there was a clog on our end, it flushes. So we clean up and think that's it. But no, a few minutes later it starts up again and keeps going for 5 or 10 minutes. So I call the front desk and they promise to send up an engineer. Fifteen minutes later the engineer arrives and does nothing other than tell us that this happens and that they are working on it. His advice " ask housekeeping for extra towels so you can clean up afterwards". So in summary the hotel advice is "live with fecal contaminated water spraying about the bathroom and for good measure clean it up yourself because we cannot be bothered". Later that day we had a family emergency and had to return home so we were not around on Sunday to see what would happen. Other notable things about the hotel - the poolside food is atrocious. The quesadilla was inedible and soggy (literally dripping w liquid) and the coconut shrimp were tough and overcooked. - The hotel staff are rude - when we checked out unexpectedly on Saturday night I told the front we needed to leave early, she barely looked up from her paperwork long enough to ask me to drop the wrist bands in a dish. I did and then I stood there for a moment to see if there was any follow up (how was your stay, do you need assistance with your luggage) but she just looked up one more time to brusquely asked if I needed a receipt, when I said no she looked back down at her paperwork and I was clearly dismissed.
