This great little gem was so much better than we were expecting. I knew when we booked, it looked really good.....but had no idea the how much we would fall in love with this place. I would recommend the Outrigger over anywhere on Fort Myers Beach!

It was tasty and had a good value. The all you can eat buffet is not necessary as the ordered dishes were plenty and offered better value. Parking is also plenty and always available. We spent the days at the pool, the beach, in Sanibel Island and Lover's Key SP - all great. The hotel is a bit older and outdated, but everything was clean and staff friendly. Read less

We were able to always find a spot by our room every day. CHECK IN: Linzy and Ronnie were super nice. Allowed us an early check in- #BONUS. ROOM: Room 225- a nice surprise of champagne. Very clean, airy, beachy. I had requested that the bathrooms be cleaned with bleach. And it WAS!! (Yay). We face the pool, tiki bar, and the beach. LOCATION: Right on the beach. Our room was but a few feet away but not on the beach, but you can sit outside and still have a beach and sunset view. On the beach, the rooms were 101-110. 201-210, 301-310. Our room- 225 was still perfect. POOL: 3 plus feet to 7 plus feet. Shower/rinse off area, Lounge chairs (in the shade or the sun), umbrella sitting and very clean towels all available. There were no activities for kids and the information board stayed on the 23rd of October. We were there from 25th until 27th. It is minimal thing, but I would have liked it to be updated. ENTERTAINMENT: Live, very nice, music/ singers. Very tropical feeling. Cool vibe. Next to the Tiki Bar! Read less
