The hotel

Founded in 1946, the Naples Beach Club boasts a rich history in the southwest Florida region. It is the only beachfront resort in this area to feature an on-site Championship golf course and an award-winning tennis centre. There is also a world-class spa for those who like to be pampered, offering the latest in massages and beauty treatments. Add to all this several great restaurants, a sunset beach bar and sport options galore, and you have the ideal tropical hideaway in which to spend a week or two! Surrounded by 125 acres of lush, green landscape, in the heart of 'Old Naples', this is a family-owned and operated resort that prides itself on impeccable service and an intimate atmosphere. And, with over 7 miles of white sandy beach on your doorstep, it won't be long before you're in the mood for total rest and relaxation! You can rent paddle boats, windsurfing equipment and much more on active days, or simply spend time chilling out by the ocean or the gorgeous swimming pools. At night, the Sunset Beach Bar is the place to be seen, or head to HB's restaurant for candlelit dining to the sound of gentle Gulf Coast waves. When you can tear yourself away from this spectacular haven, there's Naples to be discovered too, with world-class shopping and dining.

Please note: All green fees include the essential Golf Kart. The course is tropical parkland in style. We like the par-3 seventh, which is a target green over a lot of water in the American style. The par-5 fifth also has you testing your accuracy as you bisect water on every side. The course is also a nature sanctuary. Birdwatchers will be in their element!

We paid for a "resort room" for my husband, daughter and I, so when we put told to go to a room on the first floor, all the way in the corner, with a few of a wall of bushes when we opened our shutters, we were so disappointed. I called the desk and they put us on the second floor, looking out at the street, but we had a balcony. The room was clean, the beds were comfy and everyone could not have been nicer for our entire 4 night stay!! Every night we went to the beach bar and enjoyed a few drinks with the very friendly staff, before going out. The entertainment was very good as well. We loved being right on the beach and took walks every morning before breakfast. The only complaint we have is that the weather did not cooperate. Sadly we did not see one sunset from this beautiful location, but we will definitely be back!! Read less

We sat at their outside eating area and happily got a table very very close to the beach. We must have been about 20 yards from the water: it was quiet, peaceful the service was prompt and the food was perfectly delicious! Don’t know how they made a BLT with avocado taste heavenly, but they did! The bacon was cooked perfectly! It was just one of those moments that you remember as completely pleasant, relaxing, luxurious and beautiful. Would recommend this venue to anyone- one of my very very favorite spots. The gift shop is pretty cool too- bought a number of very unique items their for our grandchildren. Love it! Read less

Great beach location bar at this hotel - non residents welcome. Usual beers/ wines etc & food on offer. Visited a few times for lunch over multiple years, always a warm welcome. Understand live music on weekend evenings.

We stayed at this resort for one night and we really enjoyed the views and the beach, the atmosphere was great. Unfortunately, the room looked like it’d seen better days and the pool.... well we have children of our own and we certainly like to relax by the pool with a cocktail but what we faced put us off even going into water. The pool was full of pretty tipsy parents who’s children were running wild , eating ( and dropping) crisps/chips in the pool... one of our children saw a cherry at the bottom of the pool, which obviously got there when someone had their cocktail in the pool. Like I said I am all for having a good relaxing time but it felt like ( if you’re from the UK) Butlins. No disrespect to Butlins but you know what to expect and the prices are nothing compared to this resort, hence it was slightly disappointing having paid over £330 for one night ( no breakfast) .... On the plus side , the breakfast we had ( that’s extra) was fantastic with the lovely views over the golf course. Overall, if it wasn’t for the family pool and the general tired look of the rest of the hotel, it’d definitely give it full marks as their customer service was great. Read less

It’s wonderful. Beautiful beach, lovely resort, great service and fantastic food. LOVE the adults pool—quiet with ambient music and great staff providing poolside drink service. The view is amazing and the casual atmosphere will make you long to come back.
