Describing itself as a ‘lifestyle hotel’, it’s the dazzling creation of renowned architects and designers from Miami, LA and New York. Framing Miami and Biscayne Bay views, its floor-to-ceiling windows and oversized balconies aren’t just reserved for the suites, every room gets them. And every guest gets treats like the pool deck, with its lap pool, spa pool, plunge pool and hot tub; the Uruguayan ‘parilla’ grill at its Quinto La Huella restaurant; and South East Asian-inspired tapas with a view at Sugar, the 40th floor rooftop bar. Back down on terra firma, there’s more dining – as EAST sits above the swanky Brickell City Centre mall, packed with entertainment, shops and restaurants.

I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels. I travel a lot. This place is beautiful. Check in was easy. Rooms are beautiful and well appointed. Modernistic yet casual feel. Bed was amazing. The worst part of the experience was the futuristic elevator management. I highly recommend this place. Close to everything downtown and very nice accommodation.

Was visiting for a 3 day conference. My wife joined me. We really enjoyed it! Lovely room, comfortable, great staff, really no complaints. They did a good job of the conference too and it’s connected to a great shopping mall. Thank you East!

Beautiful hotel and my room was beautiful but so many things went wrong I don't even know where to start.... Check in was slow and rude. She didn't tell me anything about the hotel or show me how to use the elevator (which is fairly complex). She didn't even smile. Beautiful hotel and my room was beautiful but so many things went wrong I don't even know where to start.... Check in was slow and rude. She didn't tell me anything about the hotel or show me how to use the elevator (which is fairly complex). She didn't even smile. The lights over the vanity in my washroom were pulsing and there was no switch to turn them off (switch didn't work). I asked for someone to fix it and no one did. I was in the shower one night and all the lights in my room turned off. Pitch black. I was covered in soap and had to feel my way around to turn my room lights back on. I called down to valet 15 minutes before I needed my car. When I got down to lobby, no car. The valet claimed not to have known. I had to wait another 20 minutes for them to bring it up. Was very late to a client meeting. There are no plugs at all near the work station in the room. You have to charge your phone and laptop on the bed only - makes no sense! When I checked out, no one asked me how my stay was, no one asked me the entire 3 nights and 4 days I was there. I find this appalling considering the cost and the supposed caliber of this hotel. I would NEVER stay here again. Looks are very deceiving Read less

Everything about our experience at this hotel was absolutely outstanding. The check in process was quick and easy. Our room was on the 29th floor and the views from our balcony were spectacular. The room itself was modern and very clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the balcony is amazing. The pool was our favorite part of our stay. The vibe is very chill and relaxing. There are several different types of chairs and sunbeds around the pool deck. The pool itself is a good size, certainly not small at all as someone else wrote in a review. The only thing I didn't care for was the amount of children in the pool. I totally understand that this does not reflect the hotel itself, however, perhaps they can section off one of the pools for children only. Kids running around, pushing each other into the pools, screaming and playing "marco polo" doesn't create the most relaxing atmosphere. But nonetheless, it was still a great experience overall at the pool. All of the pool staff were very kind and attentive, especially Giselle. The food at east was incredible! We had the club sandwich and the chicken tenders, both were delicious. Good selection of cocktails and beers as well. Location was perfect. Some amazing restaurants within walking distance of East, and an uber to South Beach takes only about 15 minutes. Checking out was very convenient. They offered us a complimentary late check out at 1pm, and then held our bags for us for the rest of the day while we enjoyed the pool. Once we retrieved our luggage, we wanted to change after being in the pool all day. They have a great changing room area upstairs on the 7th floor with showers, towels and all amenities like shampoo, conditioner, ect. Overall we had an amazing experience here, and we can't wait to come back! Read less

We are currently staying at EAST Miami and having the most wonderful time. We are currently staying at EAST Miami and having the most wonderful time. Mentioned at the front desk that it’s our honeymoon and in our room a little later on was a delicious chocolate cake to welcome us. We have eaten at the restaurant and the food was to die for, honestly the best I’ve ever eaten. Food and drink prices are more than reasonable when considering the fact this is an upmarket hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful with a lovely pool (a little small but not busy at 3-5 when we visited) and a really great jacuzzi! All the staff we have met so far have been above and beyond. We are staying In a courer bay king room and it’s amazing, lovely bed and view from the bathroom and bedroom very high tech! My only bug would be the lack of vanity mirror! But a lovely full length mirror in hallway! Many thanks for a wonderful first day from Jake and Aimee Read less
