There are private cabanas for hire too to really make the most of those poolside moments. Other facilities include tennis courts, jogging trails, a spa and fitness centre as well as Kid’s Connection Club to keep the youngsters entertained. The rooms are so well appointed and spacious. We have a room with a golf course view and on the 10th floor. The views are wonderful- especially the city lit up at night. The pool and water park does close earlier than I wouod have thought-7:00pm. Those with kids or even those who like an evening swim may not be happy with this. Speaking of the water park, while it is included with you room, others not staying on property can buy a day pass for $199. I do not believe it is worth that price. The lazy river is not terribly large however the pool for all age groups is very big. Starbucks is on property but at the very entrance to the hotel- about a 5-7 walk from your room. This hotel is close to Adventura Mall too for great shopping and updated restaurants/ food court with industrial decor themes. Read less

This would have been a 4 star review had it not been for the bed in my room and two other much smaller issues. After all, a hotel room should provide a good place to rest at least. First, the good stuff. Great staff, nicely decorated room with plenty of space, a decent restaurant and a great bar. Now, the bad stuff: Charges: all items for sale st the hotel, from aspirin to food to clothes, are incredibly overpriced by any standards. Example: $5 for a small bag of M&Ms that usually sell for $1. A small container of cashews for $11. Bed: As for the bed, it has to be the worst I’ve had the discomfort in which to sleep in years. The mattress was soft and saggy without providing support and had an angle-I suspect from overuse—that put my feet above my head when I laid down. It was so bad that my sciatica was activated for the first time in years. I asked the desk to change the mattress, but the workers merely turned it and pronounced it “ok” without checking it out at all. Now, let’s talk about the sheets: not 100% cotton I suspect, and they were too small for the bed. Seriously, one could not even tuck in the bottom sheet. As a consequence, all the sheets bunched the second one got into bed. I got maybe 4-5 hrs of sleep before awaking in discomfort from the tangled sheets and lumps, and in pain from the unsupportive, sagging mattress. Last, checkout was a miserable experience. The desk was understaffed, and I had to leave to catch a plane after waiting 10 minutes unsuccessfully to check out. This is unacceptable in a supposedly luxury hotel. Read less

Clean, comfy, and cozy with an exceptional breakfast! Love the corner rooms, TV’s, and well done bathrooms. Never got a chance to try lunch at the restaurant, but the menu and foodie photos looked great! One of my favorite Marriotts! I’ll keep this one on my long weekend radar!

We stayed for a weekend as we wanted to try the water park for future staycation.I have to say we had a great time at Tidal Cove, restaurant at the hotel Bourbon steak was expensive but ok. Now for those traveling with kids beware thay they don't have any pool for your kids after six this is when the water park tidal cove closes and they would kick you out of their adults only pool like they did to my family. The hotel itself have only one pool and is adults only no kids allow. I sent an e mail to management with my complain while staying at the hotel still waiting for an answer they obviously didn't care, went to the front desk after they kicked my family out of the pool and it was the same. So have in mind your kids are not allow in the only hotel pool at any time is adults only. Read less
