Albion South Beach

The hotel

One of Miami's Art Deco masterpieces, this nautically inspired hotel, built in 1939 by Igor Polevitzky, has been described as 'a ocean liner on dry land'! It features elegant, minimalist guest rooms with custom-designed fixtures and fittings. Clientele and the local crowd gather at the mezzanine-level pool, which has portholes that allow courtyard strollers an underwater view of swimmers. We were very surprisef by Albion hotel, in a very positive way. The receptionist, called Caesar, is the best receptionist we have ever had. He is caring, knows what’s best for his guests, knows what guests want and has a lot of suggestions. He’s available for any question and always with a big and honest smile (he is so so so funny as well). The… Read more

We had a beautiful big room and still quiet. The lobby is beautiful and gives you holiday vives and they have a nice pool and chilling area. Also the price - quality was fantastic (specially regarding the location). We would absolutely recommend everyone this hotel and if we are ever back in Miami we will definitly stay at Albion. thank you again Caesar, you are the best! Read less

Plus the latest upgrade to the pool area is superb. An honourable mention also goes out to Revenue Manager Maximo for helping us make our 30th Wedding Anniversary really special. Looking forward to our next visit... Stevie & Joyce Read less

We were supposed to stay Wed night through Mon & we’re checking out after the first night & heading elsewhere. They let us out of 3 of the nights but we’re eating the $500 for Thur that’s how much we wanted to leave. Stinks & rooms were dingy/dirty:[ Literally found pubic looking hair on the window sill Gross!
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Decorated beautifully, great location off Lincoln mall but the strangest lack of amenities.

Lovely decoration and great location but so strange not to have a coffee maker in the room or on the hall. There is no coffee available anywhere in the building except between 7-11am, which is awful if you have to leave the hotel before 7 or if you are needing an afternoon boost. Also they don’t even give a little plastic bag for laundry. … Read more

There is no coffee available anywhere in the building except between 7-11am, which is awful if you have to leave the hotel before 7 or if you are needing an afternoon boost. Also they don’t even give a little plastic bag for laundry. These are basic things in every hotel I have been for the last 20-30 years. The lack does take away from the experience. Please change this, Albion. Read less

This hotel is in a great location. Literally just round the corner from Lincoln Street pedestrian area (restaurants and shops), 2 minutes from Washington Avenue and 3 minutes from the beach. The pool is good, with lots of beds. The hotel provides towels to use on the beach too, which is great. There is also a Miami tour company, again literally around the corner, which is especially good when they drop you off at the end of a trip! Breakfast is 12$, not bad value given the area. The rooms are good size and bright and airy. Read less
