The front desk and housekeeping staff are doing what they can with what they have. I don't think I could have gotten the tired and worn unit we had any cleaner. However, when we arrived, the door lock was not working correctly and I couldn't open the door. Instead of fixing the lock, I was given a tutorial by one of the maintenance staff on how to jiggle it just right to get it open after inserting the key card. It always took me several tries to open the door. The carpet was worn and stained and one of the bedroom curtains was torn. The floor looked like it had been vacuumed and mopped, but we would not walk on it with bare feet because the carpet was nasty. The refrigerator was warm, the upstairs bathtub faucet was broken so we couldn't use it for a shower our first night, and the upstairs toilet was leaking sewer gas, methane, or sulfur into the bathroom, which made my wife ill. I was suspicious because the exhaust fan was running in the upstairs bathroom when we arrived. The fridge, tub and toilet issues were repaired after I complained, but a basic quality control checklist should have caught these blatant issues and they should have been resolved before we arrived. The marketing team did an excellent job of convincing us to stay here for five nights for our family Disney vacation, but we will not be fooled again. Read less

I stayed end of June beginning of July for 10 nights. Nice 3 bed villa which needs updating to make it more appealing on the inside. Very spacious rooms but no bedroom had a main ceiling light and also could have a bigger patio area. Wifi was awful and needs severely sorted. Ensuite shower head couldn’t be moved and was aimed at the door. So you were unable let it warm up without causing a load of water to come out the door. Laundry area was terrible as most machines dont work or take your money. Great location and close to loads of amenities and not too far a drive from all the theme parks. Overall 4/5 and if the upgrade would definitely go back again. Read less

The only problem was that it was a little difficult to communicate with housekeeping because no one spoke English. We rented a 2 bedroom townhouse with a very odd layout. the upstairs bathroom was so small, you had to close one door in order to open the other one. The whole entire townhouse is in desperate need of a renovation. The furniture was badly worn and the carpet had so many nasty stains on it, we wore shoes the whole entire time, except for the shower and the bed. The television downstairs only played when it wanted to, which wasn't very often. The cable and internet were out more than it was on. The price was affordable, which made staying at the Saratoga Resort Villas a one time only. Read less

The rooms are spacious with 2 levels and the villas include a balcony......Very Clean. Full restaurant and bar. They have a basketball court and play area on the grounds which also makes it very convenient. More than adequate place to enjoy. Nice pools. Close to shopping and restaurants. We will come back.

We came to the Saratoga Resort Villas Kissimme with high hopes of a long over due 5 day vacation. Day one was normal or so we thought when we checked in. The desk attendant was professional enough. We asked if there was a pet fee because we had a small pet with a carrier. He laughed with my wife and I as I said hey honey the dog pays rent too. So he advised us of the pet fee and also of a $200 deposit and I assumed we were done. Off to our villa we went. Day 1 we got no service although we were in the room almost all day. TV in the master bedroom was not working and the water heater on the first floor was leaking wetting the rug in the living room which as a handicapped person, almost caused me to slip and fall. (See attached photos) Day 2 we got no service again so I called the front desk to ask were our housekeeper was and if she/he was coming. I was told housekeepers were told to stop work because it was raining so I told the desk clerk to forget service and if he could please get us extra pillows and towels which were given to us. Day 3 we called early to get service and a housekeeper came to the room but couldn’t speak any English or Spanish. She was Brazilian so we attempted Google translator. We finally thought we got her to understand that we wanted the villa cleaned but she made 2 bed, left and never came back. Still no TV repair and we had to leave the villa to get the water heater replaced. The rug was never dried of the water. Day 4 after leaving a message that we want to speak to management with the 2nd shift desk attendant the night before he said he would get the message to the manager and I would get a call back. So after having breakfast I finally spoke to someone who apparently didn’t even have the courtesy to identify himself and as I attempted to explain all that had taken place he rudely cut me off and said that we never told the desk clerk we had a pet at check in, and because we were place in a villa where they normally wouldn’t allow people with pets, it was gonna need a special cleaning. So I told the bald individual who was apparently the manager, that it wasn’t so and we had told the 2nd shift desk attendant that we had a pet and that I assumed the $200 deposit was to cover the $100 pet fee. He said you should’ve been charged the pet fee up front and charged $100 to my folio. I basically told him I didn’t appreciate being called a liar and that he should speak to his employee before making any assumptions, he then said I didn’t call you a liar I said, no you insinuated it. I’ve still yet to receive the reimbursement of my deposit as there were no incidentals and Hotels.com was told I had to call back Tuesday, 3 days later so they could speak with the manager who wasn’t available till then. I actually have a recorded conversation with the 2nd shift attendant where he stated he was sorry for everything and he did remember discussing our pet with him and he would make the manager aware. I’ve still had no one attempt to contact me in these regards. I’m seeking an attorney. Any help is welcomed. Read less
