Very nice staff that tries hard to make your stay enjoyable at this great location with loads of restaurants within walking distance. Very nice staff that tries hard to make your stay enjoyable at this great location with loads of restaurants within walking distance. I love Marriott and Sheraton brand but this facility is showing it’s age. This is also the first Sheraton I have seen with outside doors (like the old hotels). This would be great for a family vacation and looking to save some money. Two big pools for the family. Apr 2021 was still not serving any breakfast or grab&go. It is a small thing for some but first room clocks not set to correct time (7 hours off) and phone in living room not working. Second room AC struggling to cool in the evening so no chance during the middle of the day and phone in living room also not working. As long as you don’t mind a dated hotel stay with doors exposed to the elements, this is a great location and could e a good stay. If you are looking for upscale or typical Sheraton class, perhaps lower your expectations. Read less

This was the 1st time my son and I had left NY since covid. The staff was fabulous, the rooms were clean and we chose to stay there Easter Day instead of going to Disney. They became Family! Thank you!

Upon checking in my room was not ready. I had no place to go for 3 hours. It was ready at about 6:50pm. I was very disturbed by this point. That was too late to only stay 1 night. I then checked out at 8:00am because it was my last day there.

Our room was to include a balcony but on the 2nd floor is just doors that open overlooking pool. Pool is extremely loud and people don't care about blasting music right below your window. No chairs and no towels available when we went to pool. Broken closet door and bathroom door that wouldn't latch. Overall, not what I would expect from a… Read more

No chairs and no towels available when we went to pool. Broken closet door and bathroom door that wouldn't latch. Overall, not what I would expect from a Marriott property. Kids did enjoy the pool. Had just left Disney resort where they were cleaning chairs constantly, no one here cleaning anything in this COVID time. Read less

We stayed there the first week of April. I was very nervous as most of the current reviews have been really bad. After staying here, I believe most of the bad reviews are people expecting pre covid amenities during a covid time. The resort is aging, and there are some cosmetic things that could be done to improve the looks but the room was clean and very spacious. It had a separate king room and bunk beds for our teen girls. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful and the pool bar was open for drinks. No, there is not daily housekeeping, this is not unique to this resort, we stayed one night at the royal pacific for universal and the policy was the same at the resort. We did not have any issues getting extra towels and supplies. The pool was cold. All the young kids did not seem to mind and were swimming away, it was too cold for my teens however. Pool towels were always available. While the restaurant is not open, it is so close to many walkable restaurants that it wasn’t a big deal. In the end, don’t go expecting the ritz, you aren’t paying for it, but for the price we were completely satisfied. Read less
