What a beautiful place to walk around the lake with the beautiful greenery and secret benches hidden close to the lake. We spent several nights and really enjoyed. Poolside we met Ali and Dani, ALi checks you in and towels and Dani zooms around getting everyone their drinks. Two fine young men. Up front we met Danielle and Rudy Bezalais (sp). Easy… Read more

Beautiful hotel ,wish I could say a great experience as well but it was the worst and I will NEVER BE BACK. I arrived Friday around 9 PM 6/19/2020 checked in and to go to bed for a long day ahead of Saturday at the parks ( it is my Birthday weekend mind you) Saturday morning at 5 am 6/20/2020 I wake up to use the bathroom and the toilet is clogged so I called room service no big deal , they tell me they only have one security on duty and he will bring a plunger to my room. Around 530 still nothing so I start to question if he will still come , I call and check on it and she (tamika or tanika) said they can not find one ( I have no idea how a hotel has not one plunger ) I told her it would be really nice to inform us and she apologized. My boyfriend went down to the lobby to speak with her since over the phone was not working out and asked about getting a room with a bathroom that works , she advised she would check on it and then picked up the phone to make reservations for someone else and ignored him as he was speaking to her so he walked away to come let me know she is looking into moving us , She called and gave us a new room but completely downgraded us , without the balcony that we booked and originally had , you would think with this inconvenience they would be more accommodating .Which the down grade really wasn’t even the issue it was the fact that again she did not inform us of any details such as that we would be down grading and her attitude was so poor. Frustrated I let her know I would be staying in the room I am in and originally booked since she wanted to down grade us I will just go to the nearest Walgreens to buy a plunger KID YOU NOT I BOUGHT A PLUNGER BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT HELP ME , I still! have the receipt at 6 am for a damn plunger which I left for the hotel in room 1137 YOU ARE WELCOME . Whatever I let it go because I would not let this ruin my birthday weekend ! So we fix the toilet issue and go to the parks then come back to the hotel to use the pool , because of COVID there is a waiting list which again no big deal we place our names on the waiting list a hour goes by and they kick everyone out at the pool , not sure why so now my son and I are in our bathing suits scratching our heads. We call and they inform us the pool is closed the rest of the day for a wedding. NICE A HOUR WAIT TO BE TOLD NO POOL FOR THE REST OF THE DAY .it would be really considerate to inform their guests before hand like hey listen place your name on the list but we will be closing soon and you may not get to go in and I would have never been upset if I was informed because then I would not have Waited or had my child wait in his bathing suit for an hour. THEN ! IT GETS BETTER ... they reopen the pool and no one calls us although we were on the waiting list. I am in hospitality/customer service and I am appalled at the disregard of such poor customer service !! I will never go back to this resort even if I was paid. I also told management and they advised they would address everything .. Never received a call or even a email apologizing for the horrible experience , I would have been better off staying at the holiday inn. Read less

The resort is gorgeous, immaculate, and incredible service from all levels (front desk, bartenders, maintenance, pool guys & gals, and General Manager too). It was a very relaxing experience - we enjoyed hanging out on our balcony (with its awesome views), walks around the lagoon, admiring the wild life (ducks, rabbits, turtles, fish of all kinds), chilling at the pool, and of course, yummy food & drinks. A birthday celebration was on the agenda and the staff did not disappoint by providing treats in our room, as well as acknowledging it in person - very nice touches! We would highly recommend the Wyndham, especially during this time as they are certainly practicing social distancing and cleanliness & sanitation was in order. Read less

We had an amazing stay, the pools were great, everything was very clean. The BBQ bacon burger at the poolside restaurant was one of the best burgers I’ve had. The Starbucks breakfast café had great food as well although very expensive. Would love to come back here when everything was actually open and up and running but I’m sure it would be more crowded. No complaints except they do need hand sanitizer in the gym. Would definitely come here again. Read less

At check-in there were several safety measures in place, from social distancing and glass dividers to placing my ID on a tray. Seeing the front desk staff wipe down the counters after each person was comforting. I appreciated the hand sanitizer at check-in and the dispensers in the Lobby. The food was great and the staff was attentive across the board. The combined Bar 1521 and deep Blue menu had good variety… everything was tasty. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and luxurious. We appreciated the welcome bag which had snacks and a bottle of wine. Overall, it was a great experience and a nice getaway for us. We'll definitely be returning! Read less
