We stayed for one night during our two week visit to Orlando. The hotel seemed very peaceful, and the reception area smelt gorgeous! Check in wasn’t the fastest, but we got given a lot of information to help our stay. We got express passes with our booking, which for us was worth the cost of the hotel. Travel by boat or walking to the parks was relatively quick and easy. We received a text with our room information later in the day, as the rooms weren’t ready when we checked in earlier that morning. Checking out was simple and easy to do via the tv! We were able to store our bags for the second day and collect when we had finished the park. Two downsides, one the bathroom door did not shut properly. So not great privacy from the rest of the room! Secondly the price to park in the car park. Felt it was a cheeky extra. Overall though a lovely short stay, and would certainly consider staying again. We booked in to the hotel for 10 nights for myself, husband and three boys aged 12, 8 and 7. We stayed in Tower 1 on the third floor which had a great pool view. The Pros - Express passes for Universal Studios and Islands is Adventure were invaluable. - Location is fantastic - only 10 mins walk from the parks/citywalk or hop on the water taxi or bus transfer. - The whole theming is beautiful - even down to the smell as you walk in which I absolutely loved. Felt really calm and peaceful which was a welcome relief. - Pool area was lovely - hired a cabana one afternoon which included cold drinks, 25% discount at the pool bar, Towels etc - even had a TV in there! - Allison on reception was fantastic when we arrived, very thorough and gave us lots of information. - Room service was great, very swift, good portions and reasonably priced. - The roll away bed was more then adequate for our 7 year old and still left room to manoeuvre - I was impressed by the Room size. - It was our youngest sons birthday when we were there - and a lady from housekeeping brought him a little basket filled with chocolate treats and with birthday balloons attached to it which was a lovely touch! - Parking is expensive - $37 per day for valet parking is pretty steep - especially considering we didn’t even touch our car for about 5 days so they didn’t need to do anything with it! The Cons - At 2-2.30am, I was woken several times by the sound of vacuuming which by day 10 was really irritating me. I did mention this at reception but I don’t think anything was done about it. - I found other guests a little inconsiderate - having conversations at full volume down corridors at 5am or 11pm when people were trying to sleep. Keep it down people!! - There’s nowhere to dry things - so if you get rained on or have been swimming, you need to be inventive about drying everything - or be happy with damp clothing!! - On the last day, housekeeping was a little over enthusiastic and took our two Hard Rock Cafe pint glasses that we had purchased from our room. We noticed that evening but concierge were unable to track them down. HOWEVER, they were exceptionally apologetic and sent someone to Hard Rock to get us two replacement glasses and brought them to our room! Overall, I was really impressed and we will definitely be back! Read less

Family friendly, pool side games/films/music, a games room, gym, health spa, choice of dining, and shops etc. We stayed in club level with added extra complimentary breakfast, afternoon snacks, tea and evening desserts etc as well as a stocked lounge to use all day with complimentary drinks and games to play as well as tv’s to watch etc. The staff here were really friendly and so helpful also. I have loved my stay here and will definitely be back. The express passes were an amazing extra to the resorts too and definitely are worth the hotel stay. (If the hotel and staff itself isn’t enough) amazing place! Thank you for a great stay. Read less

Our second stay exactly matched that of our first stay a year earlier. The first thing our kids did was to inspect the room not expecting what they found. Our second stay exactly matched that of our first stay a year earlier. The first thing our kids did was to inspect the room not expecting what they found. To our dismay there was dirty underwear left in the room. We booked an allergy free room only to find peanuts around the extremities of the floor, lucky for us we did not have a peanut allergy but all the same it makes you wonder what the cleaners get paid for. The room was dirty, many lights did not work, the shower door opened the wrong way, the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall and the bathroom door was off its runners so did not close. Needless to add we checked in at 10:30am and after making two phone calls at 6pm & 7pm we managed to get a room to stay in. On checking out as we only stayed for 1 night the front desk could only say sorry as we strive for perfection. I mentioned our same problem a year earlier and that as they were similar then this is perfection. It all fell on deaf years unfortunately, sorry is sometimes a habit. Sadly for us we have another stay very shortly at this hotel and dread the experience, it is all paid for and cannot be changed at this time. Concierge can only guarantee that managers will double check the room! Read less
