While some of the elevators were down for maintenance during the the week we never experienced any long delays, neither did the other 2 families that were with us. Enjoyed Waves, good food, the service was a bit slow but didn't mind relaxed place. The only gripe I have was when the security guy wanted me to give him my drivers license to hold to check out a luggage cart until I returned the cart. I found that to be way over the top. The check in staff was very friendly and helpful. Read less

Stayed at many condos in PCB over the years and many are very similar. Third trip to Tidewater and several things stand out. Staff was very helpful as I had car trouble and had to extend my visit, room 315 was the best one bedroom I have stayed in, also unusual, that this condo has a restaurant open all day even during November. Had several meals… Read more

Stayed at Tidewater in room 2001 this past weekend, and was disappointed with our stay. We've stayed at Tidewater before and knew how long the waits can be for the elevators during peak season. We have had friends that stayed a few years ago and were over an hour late checking out because of the elevator situation. But we thought, it's October, so it won't be busy. Boy were we wrong. Waited at least 20 minutes every time we tried to use an elevator. The elevator closest to our room was down the entire weekend. Using the stairs with two toddlers was not an option. The size of room 2001 was great since we had 10 adults and two toddlers. We did not feel like we were on top of each other. And that is about the only positive I can say. The room is rated for 12 guests, but there is only seating in the living room for 5. There is plenty of room for more seating but they just don't have it. And the room needs some work. Door knobs were missing on the tv stand in the living room. Kitchen was not stocked very well. No pot holders, had to use bath clothes. The beds were the worst we have ever slept on in a condo. The floors were filthy, you could hear sand crunching under our shoes as we first walked in. Other than the elevator situation, Tidewater is a fairly nice place to stay. But we will never stay during peak season, nor stay higher than the third floor. Felt like we spent entirely too much of our trip waiting for elevators. Read less

Missing a few kitchen items such as pot holders, and baking pans but we made do. Met the owner of the unit and she was very nice. I read other reviews about how terrible the elevator wait is but this time if year the Tidewater wasn't even half full so the elevators were never a problem. I can easily see how it would be a problem during peak season. We brought our own tent and had very very limited space to set up at the end of all of the chairs they have. That's the only bad thing I can say about our stay. The views from our room were beautiful. I would stay here again in the fall but not in the peak summer times. Read less
