I just got back from an excellent stay a few days ago! I really enjoyed the theming in the room and the resort. I highly recommend trying the Mill Burger at the food court - it’s a plant based burger and it was delicious! I’ll be back!

We was a family of 5 for this holiday - 3 adults and our two boys. We staying in block 16 which is close to the south depo for picking up buses and close to the food court plus round the corner from our block was a swimming pool - downside it was closed for a few days at the start of the holiday but did re-open by the second week. Rooms were larger than average we had two queen and pull out bed, plus a table with 2 chairs, fridge freezer, clothing area, 2 sink basins and then a bathroom with toilet, bath and over the bath shower. There is hot drinks facility making in the room, and iron with ironing board and a hair dryer - plenty of plugs and USB ports. We was ground floor which had ramp and stairs access and had parking very close by for the car. By the end of the holiday the floor of the room could have done with a wash as you would get out of a bath/shower by the time you would get to the bed your feet needed another wash - so take slippers or flip-flops to put on straight from your wash. Staff are all friendly each cast member was always happy to help and greeted you with a smile. You can opt out of room cleaning and they will give you a gift card worth $10 a day - it’s upto you however it will mean you have to request fresh towels and bedding with a family of 5 it wasnt feasible. Room was a little dark did have to keep lights on when we was using it, great AC which you control yourself. Location is lovely with beautiful lakes. Transport is aplenty - with Disney Minnie Vans, Boat rides, and buses - you can high bikes to use around the complex And they offer horse drawn carriage rides as well. I feel the food was a little downfall for us as we felt it all tasted the same regardless of which option you had at anytime of the day and that was the same consensus from my 8 year old son to my 63 year old mother in law, which was a shame - plenty of choice though and they catered for dietary needs as well which I thought was brilliant. Just an ease with the magic bands you just tap everything so certainly made the holiday easier at meal times and opening the door to our room, plus no lengthy check out process required anymore! Overall I would recommend people to try it - I have stayed here and at Coronado springs resort - I’m one for trying other places so no doubt will rebook somewhere else but that’s no reflection on this hotel as I do believe we would go back to this one again. There was plenty of entertainment and tons of resort based activities to do we just had a jam packed 2 weeks of all parks so didn’t get the chance to try. The shop is well stocked with items you would need as well as gifts. We stayed 25th October - 8th November 2019 in room 1627 Read less

The hotel has several pools, well equipped self-serve laundry, various eateries and a gift shop with convenience items. Buses & boats will take you to other Disney hotels, parks and locations. Ubers & Lyfts will also take you around the park and into Orlando for shopping. Disney offers free airport transfers and check in to many airlines directly at the concierge desk (they will take your bags and fully check you in). The only real pitfall is that the “hotel” covers a huge area in a more motel-like format. There’s little cover from weather while you’re walking what could be quite some distance to the main foyer, bus shelter and eateries. We had probably the furthest room imaginable and the WiFi didn’t reach our room. Otherwise it was awesome. Read less

The staff were friendly and the bar at the pool is great- including an awesome bar tender. The hotel rooms could use an update. The bathroom was old, the door was warped and the the floors were stained. I am not sure that the motel-like model of this hotel (or at least the rooms where I stayed) is for me. Service was great as always- it is why I love Disney! Love Bob in the Riverroost Bar! Staff there are great! Read less
