I wanted to love this resort, I really did. However, the disappointment began when we arrived to construction in the lobby of which we were not informed. They said they were painting but they were using power tools, so... My husband and I booked club level and weren’t greeted, having to search someone out to take us to the 5th floor. Call me a snob, but I wasn’t checking in downstairs with the general public when I’d paid for a private checkin. When we finally did get upstairs, we weren’t offered a cocktail until the end of the checkin process and had to slam them down. The room, while nice, was ridiculous because we’d reserved an accessible one; the automatic door was broken. We were promised it’d be repaired. That was Friday afternoon. It wasn’t fixed until the following Thursday. Because the door didn’t stay open, it caused some damage to my rented scooter, which I wasn’t happy about. I’ll be livid if I’m charged for it. The club level lounge was a joke. They didn’t even offer bottled water. Really? Florida in September and they only have coffee, soda and alcohol. Horrible. The concierge downstairs and Bell Services were also terrible. They knew absolutely nothing, either admitting to not knowing and doing nothing else to help, or worse, telling you what they thought you wanted to hear and sending you on a wild goose chase until you actually found someone who could answer your question. The ONLY exception to the three ring circus that was Bell Services was Savannah. When I turned my scooter in, I left my drink mug behind and she searched until she found me to return it. I really appreciated that. I have to acknowledge, though, that the staff left a box of Mickey chocolates for our anniversary. That was a nice touch. The proximity to Epcot and Hollywood Studios made all the service issues tolerable but I’d never stay club level here again. The refurbishment of the lobby looks promising but to not alert guests prior to arrival is just another example of the poor service at this otherwise promising resort. Read less

You will know you made the right decision staying here from the second you walk through the doors. The lobby is warm and welcoming. The rooms are excellent and large enough to comfortably fit a family of 4, with 4 luggages! The balcony was spacious. We even loved the amenities - with excellent bath essentials and Keurig coffee. The pool area is everything everyone raves about and more. There was always a new area to explore and the sand bottom pools was such a fun and unique experience. The lazy river was relaxing, and the water slides so much fun. There's always entertainment around the pools with fun and outgoing staff! The kids played many games, won prizes, and even did a few crafts that we were able to bring home as memories. What I especially loved was the comfort in knowing the lifeguards were so vigilantly doing their jobs and watching everyone in the pool. Even when being spoken to, they would not take their eyes off the pool. And there are lifeguards at every section. The pool provides sand buckets and shovels and there's plenty to go around! The boat docking area and river edge is entertaining and relaxing. It's a quick 5 minute walk over the bridge to Epcot and a fun boat ride to Hollywood Studios. Buses were always on time. I am writing this review late, only because we are currently wishing and dreaming of going back soon. We did have more than a few issues regarding our reservations (hotel and dining), tickets, FastPasses among other things, but these were 'Disney' problems. We did have problems when checking in to our room, I requested a room near the elevators for my children's health reasons. It was disappointing when we had a difficult to find and very far room first assigned to us. It wasted a lot of our precious vacation time the first two days switching rooms. I really wish this didn't waste so much of our time so we could have enjoyed the hotel more (especially considering the price). These issues could and should have been easily avoided. Read less

Location, pool, food options across Yacht and Beach are fantastic as said many many times. We were situated on ground floor overlooking the boat dock which was perfect for us having a 2 yo. The issues we had with rooms not being cleaned before 4pm and towels not being replaced (6 in room) were minor really and don’t detract from a fantastic resort. We will be back! Read less

This is the third deluxe hotel we have tried at Disney (we have also been to the animal kingdom lodge and to the contemporary) and this hotel is by far our favorite. It’s a beautiful hotel and feels very luxurious both throughout the hotel and in the room as well. It has a gentle theme of a yacht experience that is quite Disney yet feels comfortable and deluxe. Unlike the other two hotels we stayed it, this hotel truly had the look and feel of a five star resort that you expect for the price point. The beds were amazingly comfortable, the best out of the three resorts we have tried. The shower head had plentiful water at a appropriate water pressure. Room sizes were perfect and have balconies. The staff was amazing all around, very nice and helpful and they go out of their way to make sure everything is ok. The pool area is exceptional, one of the best we have ever experienced. They have multiple large pools of varying depths all with a sandy bottom which I very much enjoyed. They also have a lazy river and a large adult size slice. They have activities all day long by the pool, movies at night, plenty of shaded chairs and beach towels. Also an area of sand by the river edge where you can watch the boats go by. It’s an outstanding outdoor area. There’s also a large sand pile in the middle of the kids pool that the kids were building sand castles at, Disney provided complimentary buckets and shovels. They also have complimentary beach balls in the pool to play with. We had a club level room and the service and many many food offerings were much appreciated. This is the closest hotel to Epcot which is a five minute walk. Hollywood studies is a quick boat ride but is also walkable as well. We loved this resort so much, it will be hard for us to go anywhere else. Read less
