This is my 3rd time staying here. The first 2 times, we had a really good experience. Only hiccup during 2nd time was room keys (cards) kept deactivating for an unknown reason. Minor inconvenience. I am currently here for a long weekend with family. The first issue arose when I went to guest services to pick up park passes. Despite my Disney app reflecting the correct ticket assignments for my family, they were incorrect in Disney’s system. So that was a 20-minute wait to fix them. I also let guest services know that I paid for the Disney Genie/Lightning Line service (the new, monetized FastPass system), but that I was unable to make any ride reservations because it wouldn’t show up in the app. I asked her if any would still be available, and her response was “I don’t know, you can try.” Seriously? I paid 145 bucks and it was a technical glitch on their end. Fine, whatever. Then I tried to use the app to make Lightning Line reservations and was never able to do so. The app wouldn’t work. So, first day at Epcot a complete waste of time. Next, I used the restroom. Tired and flustered already from the tickets/Genie issue, I put my purse down on a shelf in the stall. Walked out of the bathroom, leaving it in the stall. Totally my fault, I own it. However, I realized within 10 minutes what I had done. I go back to the restroom, check every stall and garbage can, it was gone. I went to the front desk trying not to panic to let them know and ask for assistance from security. The front desk agent was clearly not concerned with my plight. His response? “Can you please put your mask on?” In my flustered state, I had forgotten to put my mask on. But, really, those are the first words out of your mouth? So, I put my mask on and tell him the circumstances. He calls security, then says “they don’t have it and nobody has turned it in here, sorry.” Mind you, there is a security camera RIGHT OUTSIDE of that bathroom. There was only one other person in the bathroom when I was in there. The bathroom is not in a high-traffic area. You can’t even check the camera? I went back about 2 hours later and still no help. The desk agent gave me a website that is literally called “ilostmystuff.com”. Thanks, that is helpful. I hope this experience is not indicative of an overall systemic shift in the hospitality industry. It used to be that guest concerns were deemed important and taken seriously. The only helpful person was the bellman who brought our bags up and offered to follow up with security. He at least asked me for a description of it and seemed genuinely concerned. Needless to say, I will NEVER stay here again. Between this experience and Disney jacking up their ticket prices, I’m a bit done. Disney’s level of service is nowhere near what it once was. Spend your money somewhere else. Read less

Absolutely wonderful accommodations. Clise to Boardwalk and Epcot. Transportation to parks was close and convenient. Very easy to get your tickets and early admission right at the hotel. Dining was alright at the Swan but better dining was available at the Dolphin, which was right across the way. Staff was very courteous and prompt.

Weekend trip to celebrate a family member’s birthday and we had a great time! The room was clean and so was the entire hotel. The first morning I woke up late and had breakfast at the swan because the restaurants at the Dolphin were already closed for breakfast. The food was ok, except for the pancakes were not fully cooked. Fast forward to dinner at night. Good food on property at Dolphin and later we went to the bar. Cuddos to Dolphin for hiring Angel as their bartender. He is the best!!! If you owned a bar, you would definitely want him to run it!!! He is fun, easy going and not pushy, knowledgeable, and so personable that you wanted to keep drinking just to hang out with him! His drink suggestions based on the liquor I liked were great and mixed to perfection. Gimlets the first night because I like Gin and Sidecars the next night because I like cognac. He even managed to calmly convert a retired bartender on his version of a ole fashion. Thanks Angel! Another nice surprise at the Dolphin was the food at the pool. When you order food at a pool restaurant, you expect it to be meh… and subpar…. But you order anyway, because you are at the pool and hungry. Well the food at their pool restaurant was great!!! We each had something different and everything tasted good! I had the fish tacos and it was yummy! Stick with the waitress suggestion and have it blackened and you will not be disappointed! Overall a nice weekend and I would recommend it! Don’t forget to try the hot tub by the pool area! Super relaxing for your tired muscles! Read less

We were dropped off next to a city bus at Disney Springs. We then had to walk 1.66 miles to get to where the Disney buses drop off. They do still utilize the friendship boats on crescent lake. Our stay was in October 2021, and the room tv still said that there was going to be something until spring of 2019 showing that it has not been updated for at least 3 years. The hotel was pretty, but there was still plenty of construction going on. If you want to be on Disney property, and don’t mind using your own transportation then this would be a fine stay. Read less
