But I'm not happy about the member of the staff who, before even giving me a chance to get to the door (I have a mobility issue and brain injury), unlocked it (you can hear when it's triggered) to entering. Luckily I grabbed the door before she walks in..she came un announced and scared me and getting to the door could have caused me harm .she had an attitude and a clipboard seeing if we left yet..atill had several hours before check out. A call to the room would have been better..First time ever this has happened in any hotel I have stayed at. and I found it rude, a safety issue, invasion of privacy, and inconsiderate. Otherwise they have been great.. if I had tine to stay and talk to the manager I would have. I had planned on coming back again as I travel for medical for several rare conditions...but If this is what is going to experience then I won't be coming back. Please give a courtesy call or something..... Read less

I have never posted a review on a hotel however I did not want others mislead going into this if I can let them know some of the issues encountered. This was the first time we visited Disney and did not stay at a Disney resort. Although we did love the pool area we were really disappointed in room service - you have to request service including coffee, towels, toiletries..etc. even after multiple days stay your room is not cleaned unless you call and ask and even calling and asking it is a long wait to have it serviced. Our child had wet the bed and we requested someone come and provide new sheets while we were out in the evening and no one showed up until after 9pm when we called around earlier in the day to come and provide sheets. We also received a deal that kids eat free however this is VERY limited, multiple lunch places offered an uncrustable as the free meal no sides and this was for children 9 and under. Do not advertise kids eat free if that is the meal option. Lastly the bus transportation is no longer with Disney rather mears. Wait times to return back to the hotel in the afternoon were 45mins- 1 hour. Had all of this been communicated at check in when I stated I am only familiar with Disney resorts and asked what I needed to know I wouldn’t have been as frustrated. Overall I understand the tourism industry is trying to recover from Covid however families are spending a lot of money to enjoy vacation and lack of room service, poor marketing for what is provided with the stay does not make this trip enjoyable or worth the money spent. I’m disappointed as I genuinely enjoy Marriott hotels and visiting Disney. Read less

Went to 2 parks, location was the main reason for the stay. i came here over 2 decades ago when this first opened, man has it aged, small room feel, even smaller bathroom, rowdy crowds and hard to find parking late. get a good price enjoy the parks, stay out of the room as much as possible. Check in took too long. be prepared for the wait.

I am currently staying at this resort. My family of four ran out of toilet paper this morning. I called the front desk asking they send some. It's been over an hour. I have called several times so they could say how sorry they were that it was taking so long. Not sure if we are going to make it. I guess TP isn't included in the 35 dollar… Read more

Background......we live about 40 minutes from Disney. Before moving to Florida last year from NY we traveled many times to Disney and always stayed in Deluxe resorts with our 2 boys. We are now Florida residents and recently purchased the Florida resident tickets for 3 days for myself and husband. We love Epcot and decided to to the Food and Wine festival and get a room so we could have a few drinks and not worry about driving home. I looked at Boardwalk and Beach and Yacht and prices were about $400 per night. I checked the Dolphin and it came out with fees to about $250.00 with $30 paid separately for parking which we would have paid $25 to park at Epcot anyway. We arrived at 9 am thinking we would have to store our luggage, but our room was actually ready so we checked in dropped off bag and off we went. Our room was 10164, 2 double beds .The room was clean ,sheets were clean, bathroom was clean, there were plenty of towels, toiletries and Dasani water bottles, which was a pleaseant surprise. The staff was friendly ,there are plenty of dining options at hotel and the grounds were attractive. Cant beat it for the price, short walk to Epcot and Boardwalk area with alternative dining options. I am a clean fanatic and really found no issue as people have previous posted. Read less
