This was my third experience staying at the dolphin resort and each time I had a wonderful experience. The staff was professional and attentive and the room was very clean. I loved the fact that the guest and staff adhered to the COVID requirements. The location is great and the amenities were awesome! I will definitely return in the future.

The situation with the FUEL takeout/store is clearly due to a la k of appropriate staffing and no eye on process improvement. It shouldn’t take 90 minutes for coffee, pre-made items and warmed up breakfast items. Our biggest issue and reason for the 3 stars versus 4, is the buses especially to and from Disney Springs. They were very inconsistent and no one seemed to know the schedule. They dropped off and picked up in different locations with no notice. We waited 45 minutes twice for a Disney springs bus, both going there and coming home. When traveling with a toddler, it’s challenging to use ride share vehicles due to lack of car seats so the buses are really the only option unless we had rented a car. But the advantage of staying on Disney property is supposed to be you don’t need a car. So if you plan to go to Magic and Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs from the Swan and Dolphin, plan on spending a lot of time waiting on bus transportation or paying for Uber or Lyft. Read less

I have stayed in 5 Disney on site hotels, but have always wanted to stay at the Swan/Dolphin. It is perhaps the most formidable because of the sheer size of the structures. The lobby is beautiful. Perhaps its #1 feature. The grounds are well manicured and lighting perhaps the best of any place we have stayed. Check-in is good and once you learn the inside layout, you can find the room, pool, bus, and water taxi quickly. The lobby area is a bit confusing at the start, but manageable. Only serious complaint was the choice of eating at the hotel. Reservation are highly recommended because walk on is not a good option. The Fuel portion which is their version of quick service in the other hotels is limited and at times slow. We hit a busy time. Patience is the rule there. Bus is confusing. We found that riding the Disney buses instead of the Dolphin's was better and we went next door to the Disney Hotel to catch them. Water Taxi is wonderful to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. But the bus to the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom was too confusing though they ran frequently. Room is comfortable. Recommend a balcony. I like Marriott everywhere I have stayed. Professional to the smallest feature. We want to go back. For a Disney Deluxe rated hotel, it is as good as anywhere we stayed. Walking to the Disney Boardwalk and even to the International Gateway at Epcot was simple and fast. You can actually beat the water taxi on some days walking. Read less

We're staying here now, and felt compelled to leave a review, since many are leaving reviews complaining about minor issues. We're in a pandemic. Some things are going to be different. Personally, for example, I don't want a stranger in my room cleaning every day. We were able to check in at 11:00 a.m. on a Tuesday and go right to our room. It was great. The room was clean, the pool is great, the playground is fun. We haven't had to wait to sit at any restaurants, the mobile ordering has been easy, poolside delivery is slick. Staff has been friendly. Transportation to Hollywood Studios and Epcot is fantastic. Cons: Please get a pinball machine for the game room. I'd have spent a lot of time down there. Construction over by the pool has started at 4 AM!!! during the week, which is crazy. The beeping from vehicle's reversing woke me up on more than one morning. All in all, it's been a fantastic vacation for the family. Read less

My wallet went missing from the table i had left inside my hotel room. I had talked to security multiple times and all im told is “we will make a report” but everytime i call and they try to look up the report they say “i cant find a report, let me put a new one in”. I had multiple cards with my name on them and my annual pass for universal studios. Wont be staying here again. Read less
