The hotel

The adult-only Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa offers a truly serene atmosphere in idyllic island surrounds. Beach Villas and Water Villas are scattered around the island, allowing for peace and tranquility aplenty. Upgrade to a Overwater Villa with Swirl Pool and you’ll have your own private outdoor spa bathtub. Down at the beach is an oceanfront pool and well-being area, aptly named as you’ll feel very well indeed here. You can also spoil yourself to a treatment or two at the Spa Cenvaree, a blissful sanctuary offering Thai massage as well as ancient Ayurvedic treatments to banish any lingering cares. With the resort in such a great location there's a plethora of stunning scuba diving sites, amongst the Maldives’ most sought-after spots, reached within 20 minutes by dhoni. There’s also snorkelling and both non-motorised and motorised water sports to tempt you. Island dining is a treat at the Centara with several superb restaurants to choose from. Oceans Restaurant serves International, Asian and daily themed buffets while Al Khaimah features an authentic Bedouin tent with Middle Eastern-style grilled meats to feast on and Arabic delights. Alternatively, dine Italian style at La Brezza or on Thai fare at Suan Bua, two speciality restaurants that overlook the beachfront pool. Overwater Viu Bar is one of the highlights of the resort and deservedly so, its circular shape and oversized hammock seating affording unobstructed ocean views. There’s also a very popular pool bar to while away an hour or two, sipping on exotic cocktails.

Beverages available from the AI menu which consist of international pouring brands, wines (red, white, and sparkling), beer, alcoholic beverages and a selection of cocktails, as well as still water, soft drinks, coffee (cappuccino, espresso, latte), tea selection and chilled juice. Standard beverages from the All Inclusive beverage menu are available across the resort-operated bars. Served daily from 11:00am–11:00pm. Waves Pool bar operating hours are 10:00am- 6:00pm. Afternoon tea with pastries and sandwiches together with a selection of tea and filter coffee served from 3:30pm-4:30pm. Sundowners canapés selection: flavorful tapas and canapés are served between 6:30pm-7:30pm. Stay 12 nights and above and enjoy house reef snorkeling by boat once per stay per villa*.

Gold All Inclusive Dine Around option: includes International breakfast at Oceans Restaurant. Lunch options at: Oceans Restaurant (International buffet), Suan Bua (4-course set menu), La Brezza (4-course set menu). Dinner options at: Oceans Restaurant (International buffet), Suan Bua (4-course set menu), La Brezza (4-course set menu), Al Khaimah (4-course set menu). Daily replenished mini-bar service with a premium setup including one of each: vodka 50 ml, gin 50 ml, whisky 50 ml, which can be substituted with 1x choice of red, white, rosé or sparkling wine. Beverages available from the Gold All Inclusive beverage menu which consist of international and premium pouring brands, wines (red, white, and sparkling), beer, alcoholic beverages and a selection of cocktails, as well as still water, soft drinks, specialty coffee (cappuccino, espresso, latte), tea selection and chilled juice. Afternoon tea with pastries and sandwiches together with a selection of tea and filter coffee served from 3:30pm-4:30pm. Sundowners canapés selection: flavourful tapas and canapés are served between 6:30pm- 7:30pm. Spa Cenvaree: daily spa credits of USD50 net per villa to redeem at SPA Cenvaree. You will not be disappointed to come here.... the service has been excellent..... the food superb.... and our room guy Ageel could not have done more to make this a wonderful holiday.... the decorations in the room for our anniversary and for our departure just added a special touch. Thank you to everyone involved in our stay.... it was amazing

This has been our second time visiting this resort and we have loved every minute. The little island is a little piece of paradise. We have especially loved snorkelling here - so much beautiful coral and so many fish to see. We were also lucky enough to see a turtle which was the most perfect experience. There were a number of sharks around. Five years ago there were half a dozen baby sharks, one of which we saw while we were snorkelling. This time, every time we went snorkelling we saw at least one shark. There are at least a dozen black tips here now which are attracted by the ‘fish feeding’ that takes place daily at 5pm. The food was plentiful and always very good and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We stayed in an over water villa which was such a treat and we were so well looked after by the lovely Shohel - our villa was kept spick and span, he restocked our mini bar with all our favourite things and our bed was beautifully decorated with flowers a few times which made our holiday feel even more special. His smiley, friendly face was a pleasure to see every day - nothing was too much trouble. We had an all inclusive package which meant that we were supposed the wear a plastic wrist tag for the duration of our stay. However, after my partner cut his head while wiping his forehead and before we had our massage, we both cut them off. They were uncomfortable to wear all the time especially in the heat. We took them with us to meals and it didn’t seem to be a problem that we weren’t wearing them - we were not fans of the bands! Another thing we didn’t love was everything on the app, especially as not all the information and prices tallied up when you went and spoke to people. For us it was the kind of holiday where you want to switch off from your phone but everywhere you went you had to scan a QR code for a menu or look in the app (with the exception of one of the restaurants). I ended up just drinking the same thing most days because I couldn’t be bothered to keep navigating my way through menus on my phone. The sunsets from our villa were spectacular. We had a massage at the spa which was one of the most relaxing massages I have ever had and again, the staff were amazing. It’s worth keeping your eyes open for any deals they have on offer that day - the extras there are very pricy but they did have an offer on something every day we were there. There is a board outside the main restaurant and the dive centre with information on. We would thoroughly recommend this resort, with one word of caution - when we came five years ago we looked out of our villa and saw nothing but sea and sky. There is now a sizeable sand bank on the horizon quite a lot of land reclamation and construction going on in that area. From where we were all we could see was a sand bank but other villas had views of cranes and construction sites. We understand from our research online that this is part of a government land reclamation project to create a residential city reclaiming the island of Giraavaru, so expect development to surround the resort over the years and decades to come.
