Before I start I just want to say these members of staff went above and beyond for us and deserve to work at a better hotel, Preetam Kenny Wendy Veetash False advertisment - First of all this hotel was false advertisement from the pictures we see before booking and what we see when we actually arrived. The jacuzzi that is/was in the pool looking out at the sea has now been covered in artificial grass and starting to smell from the stagnant water underneath. And they have the cheek to charge couples to sit on there to have a romantic meal during the evenings instead of the beach...no thanks!! Also it was stated that there were 3 restaurants that were included in the all inclusive...another lie! There was a buffet, an Italian restaurant which you have to prebook to eat during the evening which wasn't explained to us and took us 3 days in to find out. And a restaurant near the beach which charge you...we paid 4,000 to stay here for 2 weeks all inclusive and shouldn't be paying anymore for food. Then there was the Ti-Bar, it was a lovely bar which music played in the afternoon and all evening on the beachfront...and litterally right outside our room so prefect location for us to stumble home. However, again this bar charges you for EVERY drink you order...fair enough if it was named brands but not the local stuff. I've left the comparison photos to what we had booked and to what we had experienced to see and judge for yourself. Customer service - Going back to our first morning at the hotel when asked if we would like a drink and our reply was '2 coffees please'...we didn't expect the reply to be 'the machine is over there...help yourself'. As pictured above staff left broken glass on the floor near the pool for 5/10mins...3 members of staff had been told about it and the fact people were bare foot walking around and yet they was in no rush to clear it up. One night a couple of us ordered a vodka cranberry...the barman brought over vodka lemonades which is fine if he got it wrong. But instead of admitting he got it wrong he lied saying they ran out of cranberry juice. There was 3 cartons on the bar! And when we spoke with our Tui rep...which is only there once a week on a Wednesday!! She said she would get back to us to which she didn't. Hygiene - The buffet was a absolute disgrace!! To call that standard of food a 4 star spa hotel standard is laughable. No variety at all same sh*t different day comes to mind! And the flies!! As pictured the amount of flies on the food was ridiculous...i know flies can't be helped but there was no attempt to control them. Spoke to the head chef and I had to recommended lavender oil burners on each table to repell them. There was mice running all over the place to which the staff just ignored them! During our 2 week experience I experienced diarrhoea and spoke to 2 people who had food poisoning! People look forward to there holidays and to spend a couple of days in bed during it is unacceptable, let alone the price they have paid to be there in the first place. During the second week we was recommended the 4 seasons restaurant litterally over the road from the hotel to eat which was cheap and food was lovely. Again, we shouldn't be having to spend extra money out of the hotel to dine out when we were all inclusive. Lastly and the most laughable is at 11am while the aqua fit was going on in the pool and everyone was enjoying the rays...they staff decided to start cutting tiles obviously creating plenty of noise and dust! This was to fit lights around the pool to which the wires were left with  black tape on exposed next to the pool and clear trip hazard!! If your thinking about booking this hotel...don't!  Look to book the luxe next door which standard is far superior to what we experienced at the Ambre Spa. Read less
