Visit the Oberoi Spa for luxurious pampering in exceptional private rooms — there's a whole host of treatments to choose from. Stayed from 6-12 November with my wife and 2 kids, 8 and 3 year old. Had a wonderful stay, adding many cherished moments. We are vegetarians, had a little difficulty in deciding menu since most of our stay was inside the resort and vegetarian menu displayed limited choices, however, if demanded the hotel tried its best to fulfil outside menu request. Had a wonderful vegetarian Mauritian fare courtesy Mr Pereira, GM, Oberoi Mauritius - really worth trying. Kids were kept engaged at Kids club and were taken out of the hotel for few visits as published on hotel website courtesy Mr Pereira again, which should not have been the case. One of the few properties in Mauritius to provide extensive complimentary water activities. Tried many and enjoyed. Property is maintained to highest standards. Drinking water was supplied aplenty in the room. All in all if you wish to visit Mauritius, then the property where you stay will define your pleasure quotient and Oberoi Mauritius is definitely one choice you would never regret. Thanks for great hospitality. Though the entire staff was extremely well trained, warm and hospitable, Sanjeev - housekeeping and Siksha - Kids club stood out for us. Read less

We had a sea view and a garden area overlooking the bay which was lovely to sit out and have a coffee, room 311. We stayed for two weeks and the staff here made our stay so memorable, they are all so friendly and the service is superb, they could not do enough for you and really go out of their way to make your day even better. The water sports options are complimentary for your stay and you can do most activities anytime between the hours of 9-5. The food in all restaurants deserves special mention, it really is outstanding and every meal was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in a Mauritian paradise resort. Read less

We had stayed at Oberoi Beach Resort for 4 nights in October. The property is very well planned and designed. The highlight of the property is the waterfall created near the reception area. Our cottage was far from the Ocean, but the walk towards the same was worth it. As we were vegetarians, the choice of food was very restricted, specially during lunch and dinner. The breakfast was very good with good choices of Indian Vegetarian items. The water activities were very time restricted. Could not enjoy any of the same. Having stayed at the Oberoi, Bali ... comparisions are bound to be there. With nearly similar architecture at both places, Oberoi - Bali, was a better experience compared to Mauritius. And yes, the property is very expensive. Read less
