You can enjoy the choices and the flavours of the buffet, Nature, 2 Swimming pools, Sea View Rooms with Luxury. I want to specifically mention few members of the staff that we came across through out our stay that were really helpful to make our stay a memorable, And they were Niroshan, Prasad, Amalshan from the Restaurant Balasooriya, Keshawa & the Chef's team. We will definitely recommend this Hotel to our family members and our friends on future visits. Read less

The stay in the hotel was spoiled mainly because of personel and attitude. Reception. Unfriednly, trying to take money for any possible service and the amount are not fixed, depends on who you get at reception. Only a couple of nice people that try to help, the rest try just to get money, and that doesn't mean service will be provided. One of the examples, I have sent the card via reception. The card I bought myself, the reception should have provided sending service; for a good price, of course. Well, the card was not delivered until today ( a year ago!). Actually this attitude we met everywhere around Sri Lanka; the more you look european - the more they try to get money from you. I am just surprised it also appears in international high level hotels etc. Swimming pool. Service at the swimming pool is weird. I started giving money as a tip, since they brought towels to your bed. However, was asked to give the tip on the way hidden. I felt like I do smth illegal... And what is this for request in general, tips are not asked for....In fact, I was not motivated to give tips at all. I don't mind to even bring my own towel, but then they became so angry and unfriendly. One day I stayed alone and one of the personnel was asking if my parents are away and was asking my room number!!! Be carefull young ladies!! On top of that, when I left my stuff and went to swim (to the swimming pool), I saw people just lay down on my (wet) towels! I was shocked. This happened twice, so i guess it is the constant behaviour of some visitors. especially on some celebrations or weekends, when hotel had local or indian visitors. They seemed to be not digusted to lay on your used towels. Move your personal belonings and make it their bed. terrible. Room service. Again, young ladies, be carefull! Because my friend (was on holiday alone) was asked many times by the room service if he can come in the evening to 'practice english'. And he was coming to her room for various reasons. She barely got rid of these visits. I personally didn't have much problems. Again, was giving tips, so my room was cleaned. But once I forgot to leave a tip and it was cleaned not properly, they didn't leave water...Well, I just suggest to include tips basically everywhere (so consider that when thinking of the price for hotel, which was already quite high). Restaurant. Again, unfriendly staff. In the beginning, I left tips, but that is useless. There are a couple of nice waiters, who will smile and be friendly even without a tip. the rest doesn't care about anything. There were poor cats coming, we tried to feed them, they were so thin, I never saw anything liek that. the personnel was scaring them away... It looked pathetic. I had to protect poor animals. Think they should either find solutions (feeding them elsewhere), so they don't come to the terrace. But scaring them away, when they are almost dieing I found ridiculous. Super angry personnel seemed to release anger on animals... European visitors were all trying to feed and protect them. Now, food, was okeish. The variety seems big, but in the end the choice for us seemed limited. we got quite tired after two weeks. but I beleive that is very personal. Another tip. Squirrels everywhere. try to close room balcony door. take care of your belonings on the balcony or outside next to the pool. they can get inside your bag if they smell smth. Read less

We stayed in the Deluxe ocean wing and the rooms were great.Their safety measures were excellent and there was no need of been afraid of the corona pandemic. The buffet was served by the workers and Mr.Niroshan De sliva was very helpful and must award a special thanks to him. Actually the workers were wearing masks and they were sanitizing the rooms and even the dining areas. So actually there is no need of being afraid and we can come and relax and release the stress out due to the quarantine. Read less
