We were a party of three (wife and daughter) and booked a triple room for one night. I cannot remember the number of times we have been to Blue Waters. We choose this hotel when we wish to avoid a long drive as its very close to where we live in Sri Lanka. You can have a very relaxing holiday with plenty of space to walk around the very well maintained garden or if you prefer to sit and relax and listening to the flowing water. The beach in this area is extremely good for long walks and we were up early to do just that. Our room was spacious, clean and the balcony gave a lovely view of the ocean. The large toilet added to the comfort. The buffet had a very tasty and decent spread - both eastern and western - I mean how much can you eat ! One small point I would like to mention that during our dinner - and this was around 8.45 pm (Friday 24th) - the staff came around half way through our meal and took the side plates away together with the knives and forks placed on it. So maybe a little training to the staff might help clear this anomaly. The hotel were very gracious in giving us a late check out - thank you for that. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday this is the place to go.  Read less

He is now recovering very well. Now he is fit and healthy and has also started going to work. He too remembers your spontaneity and generosity. Once again, thank you for all your cooperation. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with plenty of space to soak the sun, or sit in a quiet corner away from the crowd and listen to the sound of flowing water,or walk about holding hands of your beloved partner, this is the place to go.The breathtaking product of one of Sri Lanka's best known architects, The Blue Water has a character and style of its own and second to none. Though there was a delay in getting our room ready, the quality of the service offered from then onward was amazing and seamless. Our room had a beautiful view of the sea and all the comforts and amenities we could ask for. It was neat, clean and the balcony gave us a breathtaking view of the Indian ocean and the setting sun. We would have preferred a bigger and better choice of food in the buffets, and in the New Year eve special dinner with the large number of guests present, and with foreign tourists outnumbering the locals by a huge margin. To sum-up, it was a great stay and one to remember. Read less
