They are clean, have a large balcony and a gorgeous view on the Palm. The Club is a very nice area, where you can have snacks and drinks. The Resort is very big with a lot of pools and a long beach. The Kids Club is fantastic and larger as it seems from outside. The breakfast is delicious and has a lot of variety. It's a perfect family resort with a taste luxury. The only downside (or upside, however you seeing it) is the location. It's far from the city (but there are shuttle busses) and the water is very quiet and warm, because there are no waves. But this is the price you have to pay, if you want to stay on the Palm. What makes this hotel really outstanding is the staff! I've never been in a hotel where the people are so professional, friendly and helpful. They give you a feeling that you are welcome. I want to especially mention here Lahcen, Darren, Mustafa, Michael and Alisha who made our stay so comfortable and nice. Thank you and I will definitely come back. Read less

We visited as a couple looking for a special relaxing time at a hopefully great resort hotel. This was definitely not what we ended up getting with a hotel that has lost its way as an exclusive 5star hotel to nothing short of a kindergarten. The hotel does have a pool area for children but this seems to be an area that a lot of adults wish not to use so they all use the main pool area. this makes it a very large playground that was well and truly ruined by 'an accident by a child' in the pool which ended it closed for a day to clean the water. The rooms are very good, comfortable and clean. The restaurants are good with a great selection of choice and great quality food. There were some really good servers across them as people couldn't do enough to help make it a good stay. The one blot was the Chinese which again seemed to be letting children of all ages run riot around it rather than sit at tables. The staff here just let it happen even after complaining. If they want to run a family hotel then this should be advertised as such and a warning that couples will not find it private or relaxing. Would I come back, probably not. If I wanted the family resort I would have gone to the Atlantis next door. Read less
