The Sofitel Dubai The Palm provided us perfect comfort in a fantastic luxury environment. Highlights to us were the room itself with a fantastic view and one of the best beds I’ve slept on. Even though it was amazingly hot outside we were able to cool down in the pool and get active in the very well equipped gym.

I went to this hotel for four nights before an onward trip to The Maldives, with my husband and two teenage kids, we had a two bedroom apartment. What can I say......this was an amazing hotel, from the impressive lobby and extremely friendly staff. Our apartment was huge, beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. We went half board and ate in the main buffet restaurant, the food was amazing, we went on an Italian themed night and had the best food ever. We also ate at The World Eatery one evening, which was superb and we had excellent service. Drinks are expensive, but there were special deals on wine and mocktails that you could take advantage of. There is building work on a new hotel next door to here, but I can honestly say it had no impact whatsoever. I was very impressed with this hotel and would definitely return here. Read less

We stayed here for a few nights and really enjoyed ourselves . The plus Reception - excellent check in and very nice introduction to the hotel - the lobby smells lovely and looks very nice and welcoming . The food - the food on half board was very good also and the service excellent , the drinks where of nice quality . Rooms - fantastic rooms - fantastic room cleaning and bed making / turn down The beach - lovely beach and well looked after . Kids club - run very well and very professional The downs The pool - although the pool is nice , it’s a Bit of a mess . It’s dirty with tiles missing , the sun beds are disgusting and full of bird droppings , and the cabanas are filthy and charged for . Also not enough beds and people fighting and leaving towels them overnight . The lifeguards did not have a very good attitude in general either and I often heard them being really rude to the younger child guests . The bar service was really good but the service buttons they have around the pool are all broken and tatty . The signs are also in Bad condition and broken The buffet - the breakfast is not great , it’s dark and out of date , the food is not of very good quality and a lot is cold . We stayed at the Westin previously and the food was brilliant , clean and fresh . For instance they would separate the yogurt or similar items like overnight oats into nice portion size glass portions for you to take . This hotel have a huge bowls of this and people have one spoon to help themselves which gets messy and looks disgusting . All the stuff gets mixed up and they end up looking amessy un attractive chav fest .They have a lot to learn here to improve the food quality and presentation . Read less

He went beyond my expectation to surprise me with a birthday card and chocolate in my room. Secondly, I would like to thank Micko and Ahmed Suliman for the beautiful beach suite selection for me and my parents to stay in as well the late check out provided for us was very unexpected. Its very hard to find the words to express my gratitude for the staff as well as service that was provided to us. My parents enjoyed the stay and said this was a beautiful Eid al Adha holiday that they had experienced in Sofitel The Palm Hotel. My brother as well as niece really enjoyed the beach, the kids pool slide. I kindly would like to Thank Rita for making me and my parents feel secure at the beach suite 1. The front desk team was amazing as well as Aj for taking the time to arrange for me the golf cart to take me to my beach suite. Finally, this was amazing stay and would come again and stay at this hotel. It makes me feel like my second home away from home. Read less

We are just about to checkout of this amazing hotel. Everything about this hotel is great from the food to the staff. This is our 3rd visit to Dubai but first time to this hotel but it is by far the best and would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking of booking here, especially families. Best restaurants for us were The World Eatery, Porter House and the Manava buffet. Anita who works in The World Eatery is super friendly and looked after us. The hotel, from the room to the pool is very clean and the guys who cleaned our room everyday were very thorough and the room was spotless. One tiny negative for us was the where our room was. We were ground floor opposite the kids club, though there was no noise from the kids club, where we were situated our room was very dark and no natural light at all. So when you go back to your room, if you’re too hot to sit out in the sun all day you need to put on all the lights in the room. We would have liked to have been on the first or second floor. We know now for next time. Read less
