From check in to check out, the hotel staff were attentively looking after my wife and I with an exclusive touch. My wife also suffers from a diet issue...they made sure she eats well during her trip without worrying about any cross contamination. For this, BIG BIG thanks to F&B Director Patrick and Check Sanu. Also big thanks to Mario for the great service and ‘Abitah’ looking after the pool and all the other wonderful staff of the hotel which were super amazing. I am sure I will see you all again next year! Thank you for making our two days staycation as a trip to remember and repeat. Again, THANK YOU AND SEE YOU VERY SOON. Read less

It was an absolute pleasure to spend 2 nights in this awesome resort. I had been in many different hotels in UAE for short staycations, but my latest experience was something different. Absolute luxury, and the best care from the hotel staff that I have ever had. I will definitively come back.

We had a wonderful three night stay here, a real escape.... It's a small hotel, only 32 rooms spread around the corner of the beach on one side and a lagoon on the other. We stayed on our Marriott points. We could never have afforded the room rate and much as we loved it, I don't think it would be worth the room rate anyway. The villas are fabulous: like a luxurious villa of your own set in large gardens leading down to the beach, very private indeed. Each has a small swimming pool - heated would you believe - and just lovely. There were multiple lounging facilities in the garden both by the pool and down near the beach entrance, big cushioned beds under cover. There was also an outside stone bath and a rainshower. Honeymoon heaven. The room was large with a huge super comfortable bed and a day bed divided off by a large chest on which stood a flat screen tv. Behind the bed, screened off was the dressing room area with twin sinks and behind that a shower room and a separate loo. Fittings were second to none Our room was immaculate and well serviced. Servicing was a little odd. Perhaps a little unpracticed. Service all over was like that. Kind and very willing but not top notch by quite a way. We are Marriott Platinum ELite and there was almost nothing on offer to welcome us. No free breakfast, but we got a small discount. Breakfast was ok, a buffet. Service patchy. It took ages to get coffee. But really nice staff so hard to be annoyed. Food in general was eyewateringly expensive as per the rest of the area. We ate lunch and dinner in the restaurant. We did very little. Just lazed in our luxurious villa and just enjoyed the privilege of being there. Read less

This is a very relaxing property to visit, with private cabana/suites only setup. It's a little quirky with an unusual layout and super small property size. The service levels are mixed, you'd expect more for the price. There's tremendous inconsistency in how the rooms are maintained and serviced and this got annoying after a while (eg a ripped curtain here, mismatched wine glasses there...high class problems to be sure). It's easy to walk to the mall 15 minutes away or to other hotels for an escape when you want it. Elite benefits are negligible other than flexibility on check in/check out, it would have at least been nice to have been invited by the manager to a complimentary cocktail. Perhaps the most unsettling thing though is that my partner felt a simmering and ungracious racism and unfriendliness amongst many of the staff. Glad to have visited, don't think we'll come back though. Read less
