This a five star beautiful property with a 3 star hotel service standards. Upon check in we ordered lunch to our villa around 3 pm, the dishes from the table were not cleared until 11 pm even after several calls and reminders. We had finally received our morning coffee during breakfast at the restaurant after 40 minutes!!! Even we followed up every 10 minutes with them, the only answer we heard “ It’s coming “. Yeah , I guess it was coming from Brazil. Tables next to us were never cleared after other guests had breakfast and left, so many birds were gathering around it and flying next to our food on the table. Same happened at the Moon bar, after a couple who was seating next to us left, their glasses and dishes were still there for another hour until we left the place as well. When one day we arrived for breakfast and wanted to be seated outdoor they told us that the table are reserved for some Arabic guests. Honestly I had no idea that you should reserve your desired table for breakfast, during all my travel experience it was first come first serve basis. When I called to book a table for dinner they asked me if we needed a buggy to pick us up, but unfortunately the buggy never showed up at requested time. Upon check out there was some telephone charges to our room , which we never use as we have our own cell phones, they have removed it, but still why it was there at the first place. We have raised few issues mentioned above to telephone operator, she promised that the duty manager will call us back on Thursday evening, which has never happened off course. But as a compensation for all the inconvenience as they said we got couple of additional capsules of coffee! Thank you! That’s what I have never expected from Ritz. If a guest is ready to pay as much as they are charging per night, at least one expect to have a five star service. Read less

Recent trip to North Africa with a planned three night stop over in Dubai. Looking for a quieter spot away from the glitter of Dubai booked at this resort in Al Wadi desert. Just one hour from Dubai airport by comfortable road transfer and what a pleasant surprise. A magnificent "tented" villa with own heated swimming pool in absolute privacy and luxury with courteous and efficient service. The villas are spread out but easily accessible by golf buggy or as we preferred by bicycles provided at each villa. There are many activities if that is your scene but for an absolute chill out en route highly recommended. We will certainly visit again.Restaurants are three and varied and excellent quality. Read less

We asked for our pool to be heated up a few degrees and they came straight away to do this for us. All the staff we encountered were happy, smiley and couldn’t do enough for you. Price of drinks compared to Dubai were very good. Only negatives would be; there needs to be food available at the main pool. The reason given was that the flies are a problem but they need to address this as that was a bit of a pain. And main pool water was too cold to go into. It was only heated to 22 degrees far too cold at this time if the year. We live in Dubai and our pool is useable all year round. We will definitely be back for a longer stay, the hotel is amazing😊 Read less

Special thanks to Prasad for all cart assistance to various locations in the resort, Vignesh for Room keeping, Wilson for amazing nature walk and information on desert and its flora and fauna and Chaman Singh Chauhan (Head Chef - Moorish) for amazing chat and specially cooked food for us. However I have couple of suggestions a) Food at Kan Kazman was cold & not good. It being once a week arrangement it should be more spectacular than other restaurants b) Nature walk - It was nice experience but length of safari in terms of distance should be much more and should be little far from resort area as we just roamed around the resort Read less

I got to admit, This is one of the finest resorts I have seen. My friend has come from China for touring the UAE and he was staying in this hotel. I came to this resort to visit him and I got to admit that I was amazed by the location of this resort, This location itself is an attraction for the tourist who is trying to see the cultures of UAE along with the finest hospitality a person can receive. I went inside the resort to meet my friend and was amazed with the lobby, It was truly a treat for the eye. I was waiting in the lobby for my friend to come. While I was waiting I was in the wonderfully decorated lobby, Miss Meena from guest relations came to me and offered me a welcome drink and I was curious to know more about the hotel, miss Meena was so generous and kind, that she explained everything to me while I was waiting for my friend. Even though I haven't stayed in this resort, I was truly amazed by the hospitality of the employees in Ritz Carlton. I asked my friend who was staying in the resort and he was very happy that he took this resort to stay. He was highly talking about the cleanliness of the room and the hospitality he has been received. For the people who are staying in UAE, this is a perfect gateway for all the residential people, as it is inside the heart of the desert. Read less
