Several electric blinds did not function properly and there were rips in the canvas roof. The most disappointing part of the stay was the restaurant service staff who continually got our meal and drink orders incorrect, especially the breakfast staff. We availed a 600 dhs Food and Beverage rebate that was never applied on check out and which I have had to follow up and get refunded. It has now been 2 weeks and I still do not have the refund. Overall, a very disappointing stay and definitely not worth the premium you are paying for a supposed premium resort. Read less

We did a staycation at the Ritz - Al Wadi this September; we stayed in the Al Khaimah Tent! The stay was extremely disappointing overall....it’s sad that I have to start of by describing it this way; but it’s what I felt after the staycation. Now imagine doing a weekend staycation and you choose a property that has a private pool so that you have all your privacy in order...so you choose the Al Khaimah tent with a private pool, but when it’s time to use the pool in the evening to the time before dinner you realize there are no lights....so you now cannot use the pool....yes that’s right; we lost our evening pool time as there were no lights thus making it impossible to use the pool. The staff eventually after a couple of hours put flood lights outside the pool; but what’s the point of this? While I could now see the pool; I didn’t feel I was in a 5 star property anymore....imagine going to a motel with a small pool that uses makeshift lights. After a disappointing evening, comes further disappointment the next morning, we wake up to realize that all the window blinds won’t go up. Such a sorry state to not see the outside in the morning which would have been so beautiful....the issue took them 2 hours to fix. Think about how disappointing it is when you go in for a staycation and practically loose prime time of that staycation because of things not managed well at the property. The only person who was sympathetic and did a bit to help was the duty manager Mr Joseph D’Souza. He came up with the suggestion of the flood lights and even offered a complementary bottle of wine due to the pool issue....but the at the Ritz the team surely knows that a complementary bottle of wine is not going to make up for the bad experience....especially when guests are paying a premium. So over all when we finished the staycation I walked out with the feeling that I paid Ritz to give me a very troubled 24 hours. I would have been more relaxed at my home! Read less

This place is unbelievable in every respect. I wasn’t particularly keen on this part of the holiday when booking and didn’t realise what it had to offer and only booked 2 nights. That was my biggest regret. The staff, rooms, food and activities including the spa and rainforest experience are the best I’ve seen and I’m a regular Dubai traveller. T

Arrived to be greeted by very friendly and welcoming security gate (Wednesday 4pm) Bell Desk/Buggy drivers fantastic in every way, great conversation, that noticed my wife was pregnant and drove a little bit slower without being asked. Our Villa was beautiful, We managed to get all connected, even was kind assistance for Aju engineer who come to connect our apple TV (tried to make it easier for them to connect without the need to come to the villa, but still very much appreciated) HK team, one must stay how much work it does take to clean and sanitize each room have definitely made staying away that much more comfortable. Naveen looked after us well, every managed a beautiful display on our bed on return, my daughter loved this little towel animal. Dinner in Farmhouse, perfect after a long drive, relaxing, food was great. Breakfast service was spot on from, special mention to Neha who was very kind and and picked up on the simples things such as pillow for my wife as she was pregnant. Afisi, was in the next villa cleaning the pool, was very kind to help pick up my daughters goggles that somehow managed to fly over the poolside at the hands of a 3 year old. KidsClub....there is just so much to do, its great and all sanitizing efforts are done to make the mums and dads feel that much safer with the littles ones running around. i must stay its one of the best kids clubs we have seen, so well organised and layed out with arts and crafts, beautifully done. Joseph quickly followed up on request, that was not a hassles at all, we booked the pony splash, the team there were also provided us with details on horses and about the resort. last mention to Gopun picked helped with check-out, was very kind and made great conversation. We will be back, in winter time. thank you to the entire team, there were many that we meet and all were fantastic. Till we see you again. Warrick, Intan & Sophie Read less
