I've stayed at Grosvenor a number of times - always in the apartments / residences. If you are looking for a longer stay - this is one of the best. Kitchens are fairly well stocked (but you'll need to buy olive oil, spices, etc.). The residences have personal washer/dryer in unit - and are slightly larger in the space and layout. Opt for ones with a balcony if possible. Bathrooms are large, marble. Pros of property: Multiple restaurants on site, good quality, hair salon and nail salon on site, spa and fitness center in tower two are wonderful, great COVID precautions and cleanliness, and truly wonderful service. Cons: Pool has very limited hours that it gets sun, no beach access (you can access beach at one of the sister hotels, but you have to drive/take shuttle). So if you're looking for a beach/pool vacation, this may not be ideal. Marina area is far from DIFC/downtown areas. Read less

We have spent 8 days in Dubai, with 2 mall kids in April. We stayed at Grosvenor, and I only have highest remarks for the accommodation we got, the food in the Sloan's restaurant, the cleaning, the transfer to the Royal Meriden beach, the service at the beach, and activities for the kids. We stayed in 2bedroom apartment, with two balconies, and we had an amazing view, overlooking the Marina, the Mosque, etc. The breakfast was also served at Sidarta restaurant, which was in Tower 2 (Grosvenor has two buildings), and it was less crowded then Sloan's, so if it is open, go there, the view is nice and it is calm place, where the service if perfect. The dinner we had in Sloan's, and the assortments and choices were various. We enjoyed Indian cuisine, fresh fish and sushi, while kids also have plenty options, like pizza, pasta, and usual kids things. I could only suggest to have some plain soups/potages for kids. Some of the evenings, we had dinner at Brasserie at Royal Meridien, and the quality of food was also superior. What could be improved is the wine list, since most of the white wines where semi dry, so it was difficult to find dry white wines. We had dinner at Zengo, one of the restaurants at Meridien, and again, this is one of the best restaurants I have been in recent years. The shuttle to Meriden was perfect, although one can walk (10 min), it was easier with the shuttle, that leaves every 10 min...The beach is super clean, pools as well, restaurants at the beach also have good choices (I recommend to try tuna tacos). Kids loved the kids club and the Easter Egg hunt, the possibility to play football on grass barefoot... I also used the spa, and had a Balinese massage at Caracalla spa with Mani, that was amazing. Again, staff is professional but also attentive and warm. For the beach, since it is quite big, although I do not know if it is allowed by law, for smaller kids, it could be useful to introduce some bracelets, to track them, in case they lost while running around, or looking for a toilet. Also, for the first time in a hotel, the cleaning of the rooms was never overlapping with our time in the rooms. The cleaning team was very efficient and fast. Everyone are wearing masks inside, the staff also outside, although all of them are vaccinated, so tourists really can feel safe. My impression was that the ration between the number of guests and staff is unusually high and this obviously influence the service efficiency and quality. I am looking forward to go back, kids as well. Great job both Grosv and LRM staff and management. Read less
