The King David’s reputation is well deserved. The location couldn’t be better. The accommodations, and service were excellent, and the breakfast buffet in the dining room was epic. I particularly loved the signed tiles on the main floor; seeing the notables who had stayed there was like walking thru history.

Not only is this hotel historic, it is beautiful, well-located and has amazing service. This is my new favourite Jerusalem hotel. The architecture is stunning, as is the pool. I also enjoyed the responsiveness of the breakfast staff... and the shakshuka.

The King David is in a prime central location in Jerusalem; Just a short 5 minute walk to Malmilla mall, and then 5 more minutes to Jaffa Gate to enter the Old City. The hotel offers a free two hour tour of old city on Fridays and Saturdays with archeologist Dr. Haim Cohen which was thoroughly educational and fascinating. As other reviewers have noted, the breakfast buffet is extraordinary, and the Shabbat meal service is top-notch. The pool and garden area behind the hotel is an oasis of green and calm, a great place to relax in the midst of the city of Jerusalem. So many excellent staff members. Hanny, Isaac, Ali, and more in the restaurant. Charles and Basel at the front desk/lobby. Yes, the king David costs more but it’s definitely worth it! Beautiful architecture, excellent staff, and prime location. Will return. Read less

The staff is amazing and they meet your every need in a warm and exceptional way. From the staff at the front desk to the staff in the dining room for breakfast everyone is eager to please. A special shout out to Jeremy who is the most amazing person I have ever met in a hotel.
