Our trip here didn’t start well. A winter storm in Denver and Aspen resulted in our flight being cancelled. Through not fault of ours we could not make it. A St. Regis employee said no exceptions are made, and we would have to pay for the night. They suggested that we rent a car or hire a private car (for $960). I am surprised that they wanted us to take the risk of driving from Denver to Aspen in winter conditions. I know several people that tried it and had to stop. One couple even ran off the road. We paid for a hotel in Denver and the St. Regis to keep from taking unnecessary risk. That policy needs to change. The above having been said our stay was wonderful. We were greeted by Kitty the hotel dog and a very nice group of people. The hotel and our room were beautiful and comfortable. The food is excellent. The decor is unparalleled. The fitness facility is very well equipped. The staff is very friendly. The hotel/resort richly deserves 5 out of 5. Read less

I was celebrating my 60 and the extras that the hotel gave me to make my stay were greatly appreciated.Brilliant staff and… Read more

The afternoon champagne tasting opens with the manager sabering a bottle, which was so much fun. The food and cocktails on premise were all delicious. Highly recommend! Read less
