We stayed at the St Regis for the weekend. It is a nice enough facility but very overpriced for the value you receive. We stayed at the St Regis for the weekend. It is a nice enough facility but very overpriced for the value you receive. Our room was 500.00 a night for a ground level on the street looking at a dilapidated motel. Both the St Regis and the old hotel are built right against the sidewalk so your only view is right into someone else’s window in a motel that looks as if it was built in the 60’s. The only thing my titanium elite status got the wife and I was a 2 egg omelet for 100.00 The pool area has about 25 chairs that were all “saved” and no real fix for the situation. They had space if they wanted to provide more chairs. Maybe it’s a different experience in the winter but I’ll be finding another joint... At the end of the day, most of my experiences with Marriott at higher end facilities come with a value that you can justify. Not this place, it’s just an overpriced hotel in an expensive town. one and done for sure... Read less

This is the second year in a row at this hotel, most likely our last. Last year, we did not get our room until well after 4pm. This year ( after many messages, phone calls about our experience) , they hotel decided to put us next to a dog, kids, and two adults. As soon, as we entered the room, we heard barking. We love dogs, we have two, however, on a vacation, sleep is good, barking dogs are bad. When I inquired about moving, they put me in a room; literally on the patio of the pool. No thanks. " I'll see what we can do, but we can't guarantee another room." I inquired again, and learned that there were several complaints about the dog, and noise, yet, the "management" did not move the culprits, rather, give us the poor room. Bad planning; have areas and rooms with dogs, and those without. It's quite simple. Service was okay. The employees at the bar , the bartenders; wassup DK, are excellent. The pool staff; eh. I've found that when you ask some staff a question, they look at you as if you are speaking a different language. It's quite astonishing that the hotel is as bad at customer service. Wait, the "W Hotel" opens soon, and this hotel will feel the competition. There is no real competition, thus, they can operate at 50% satisfaction rate, if that. Anyway, spend lots of money or points, it's Aspen, the hotel isn't great, but, will suffice until another option emerges. Read less

Daniella, who greeted us at the front desk when we arrived and made sure to remember us by name (and answered all our questions expertly) was only one of the terrific St. Regis associates who made our stay at this property memorable in the best ways. Julie (Julia?), the concierge, worked tirelessly until she found us wonderful places to dine and the place itself was lovely. Our room, on the 5th floor, was nicely appointed (although hotels clearly no longer offer anybody enough lights) and the bathroom/shower were particularly appealing. We had drinks at the bar a couple of evenings and enjoyed the atmosphere. As always, the breakfast was too expensive but it was pretty good although not as good as we'd hoped. We would certainly return. Read less

I really enjoyed the stay in St. Regis Aspen. Yes, it is an older hotel, but it is very well maintained, rooms feel clean and modern and common areas are bright and spacious. The location could not be better - right next to the slopes, but also walking distance to other bars/restaurants. I also appreciated the sports rental store directly across… Read more

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. After asking for additional coffee pods, house cleaning staff ensured we had extra every day of our stay.
