This lodge has a fantastic location. Just a few minutes walk via underground path to the gondola station and just a 5 minute walk to Main St. as well. Underground parking is convenient and pool/hot tub area was great as well. The pool attendant was so quick to clean chairs/tables as soon as guests left. And the # of guests was limited to a… Read more

Decent place, pool closed due to COVID but I would stay again. Rustic feel, bed wasn’t comfortable, too firm for me but rooms were clean and we had a nice patio. Was surprised there was no a/c but didn’t end up needing it as they provided a fan and temps were at a steady 70 degrees.

The gondola is across the street (there is an underground tunnel or free shuttle right to the gondola) and it is ski in to the back door of the main building--follow the signs. There is no restaurant on site, but condo/town home has a full kitchen and the shuttle will take you anywhere in Breckenridge and pick you up when you call. Underground parking was a plus. Having a king bed in each of the 2 bedrooms was very nice for couples. Read less

The five of us loved the beautiful two-bed/two-bath Thunder Mountain Lodge condo we rented for a week at Breckenridge skiing. Comfy beds, great shower/bath, well-stocked kitchen (might want to add a cookie sheet for the new stove) and the laundry was just outside our front door. The hot tubs were a short walk and so relaxing after a day on the… Read more

Comfy beds, great shower/bath, well-stocked kitchen (might want to add a cookie sheet for the new stove) and the laundry was just outside our front door. The hot tubs were a short walk and so relaxing after a day on the slopes. We thoroughly enjoyed our first time at Breck and being able to ski back to the condo along Four O'Clock Run. The very convenient shuttle service in the morning was a much appreciated alternative to walking to the gondola in ski boots. We called the number and by the time we had gathered our skis from the ski locker, the friendly driver took us to the where we wanted to start our day. So many great restaurants nearby and such a comfortable condo, we can't wait to go back to the same condo!!! Thank you very much. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Buyer Beware--Ski Vacation Bummer-- Dishonest Description of "Ski-in, Gondola-out"

This tired old condo hotel may be "ski-in" but it surely is not "gondola-out" despite all of the explicit marketing statements to the contrary. This tired old condo hotel may be "ski-in" but it surely is not "gondola-out" despite all of the explicit marketing statements to the contrary. We were misled into staying here by the official Breckenridge reservation and sales service team when they expressly told us the property was "ski-in, gondola-out"--this is also how the property is explicitly described on-line. Well if you like to walk a quarter of a mile in your ski boots carrying your skis and poles and if you like to walk downstairs and then upstairs through a tunnel and then through a parking lot and across a busy street before you reach the gondola then this may be the perfect spot for you. Had we not been lied to, we would have never stayed at this dump. And we repeatedly tried to reach someone in the Breckenridge customer service network--there is none--each day to have our concerns addressed and they simply don't exist. The Breckenridge network is great on selling a fantasy but don't expect them to stand behind their product when reality is completely opposite of what was promised. Stay away unless you enjoy walking in your ski equipment. Personally, we paid a premium for a convenience that doesn't exist. If I had the time, I'd sue these clowns for false advertising and misrepresentation. Read less
