Loved our room and hotel, excellent location, friendly staff. Valet parking $27 a day but it is so worth it, the room was huge with a 2nd space that had a couch, dining table and tv , it also had a bar area and small fridge and microwave. We had no issues , clean room, clean towels and good housekeeping plus free breakfast! We will definitely stay… Read more

Image of the Tripadvisor rating Don’t ever stay in this filthy, overpriced place that tried to scam with double parking fees ($54 instead of $27).

I would give this place no star if I could. Dirty towels, slower than dialup internet, murky hot tub with tons of bleach, cold ‘heated pool’, yucky cold breakfast with powder eggs that changes you $5 for two fried eggs/omelet. 'Happy hour' is a joke as they only give you chips/soda/coffee and you have pay for ‘discounted drinks’. My child puked… Read more
I would give this place no star if I could. My child puked right after he had the stale chips. They were doubling charging me for parking ($54 instead of $27) and didn’t say a word until I confronted them. You can’t use their luggage cart on your own so unless you are willing to drag all your luggage from another parking place to the hotel. The knob for the shower fell off when you touched it, and there was no hot water until the guy came and fix it. I booked direct on-site and still, there were no extra pillows that I requested when I showed up. The ones there were tiny and I asked the bell boy to get me extras, and that didn’t happen and I had to call 3 more times before I got 3 real pillows (took 1.5 hours). The air conditioner was super loud and it was located outside of the bedroom. The bed is so worn out and the whole place feels like a funeral home. Don't stay here as one night stay here will cost you $200 with all the taxes and fees even if it was 30% off the 'regular rate'. There is a 5-day advanced cancellation requirement so I was stuck with this place when I booked on Wed. I complained to the front desk about all these issues and they were like 'well sorry'. Hotel needs more cleaning, customer service not really good! Hotel is kind of expensive for not having a good service. Location is great, don’t really recommend this hotel though, is expensive not what expected and bad service in general!

I usually don't stay at Casino Hotels, but I decided to give the Hard Rock Resort Hotel a try during my 2 night stay at Lake Tahoe. I was very impressed with the level of customer service, pristine rooms and the beautiful views. When I arrived to my room it was clean and inviting. The bed was so crisp and perfect that I almost thought I heard my mom say when I sat on it "DON'T MESS UP THE BED!!!" Whoever prepared the room before I arrived is a pro and pays attention to details. The next morning I left the property to do some sight seeing and dinning. When I arrived back to the hotel, I ran into one of the hotel staff on my floor. She greeted me with a smile and asked if I was enjoying my stay. I told her how impressed I was with the service. I asked if she had cleaned my room that afternoon because I had left a tip for the service. She stated that she did not find a tip and that the housemen strip the beds before the room attendants enter to clean the rooms. I told her that seemed unfair since she creates the ambiance for her guests. How selfish of the housemen. I asked her if management was aware of this injustice and she said that it's just how things have always been since she started working at the resort. I felt her frustration and reached in my bag and gave her a tip for her service. Overall, I had a wonderful 2 night stay and would visit again. Next time I will show my appreciation by leaving my tip at the front desk to be awarded to the person who deserves it. Read less
