We stayed here two nights as part of a holiday travel package in California. Someone mentioned it's a former Embassy Suites, and it definitely has the huge indoor courtyard and Embassy Suites feel. Our suite room was nice, clean and large, and quiet for the most part (you're never going to get total quiet in a big hotel that attracts families). Location is great and all the nearby casinos, shops, restaurants, etc. are easily walkable. Since this was part of a travel package, we did not see a bill but I have read others' complaints about the resort fees. We did enjoy the pool and spa tub, but we intentionally picked a time when not a lot of kids were around. Otherwise, it can be your typical crowded and loud hotel pool. They have indoor ponds with fish and turtles, which is interesting. COVID forced them to abandon their breakfast buffet and we heard they were offering grab-and-go breakfasts, but when we were there they did have hot food served cafeteria style (servers will load up your plate for you). Rooms are dated, seems like original furniture from the 1990s. Breakfast is terrible! Same exact each morning. Eggs (scrambled only) are lukewarm as is pork sausage. No bread or muffins, just cold pancakes which cut like rubber. Only fruit is apples. Only cold cereal was fruit loops. Oatmeal was as runny as water. Parking is a ripoff. Very… Read more

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights, the hotel has no free parking and no independent parking, only Valet, the amount charged for parking is a very high amount per day $ 27, even though the hotel has three parking lots, they prefer to take money from customers. We checked in hotels nearby and almost everyone gives free parking or at a discounted price to guests. did not clean our room during all 5 nights except one day, breakfast was awful, scrambled egg prepared in advance and out of place, we asked for a hard boiled egg and were told no, just Scrambled omelet, the egg is neither well made nor tasty, only one day there was a dry bun the rest of the days when we checked there were no more rolls or bread. The only glue that was it was a piece of meat, scrambled egg, apple, pancake and porridge, there was no cheese, no vegetables, no variety of fruits, so vegans and vegetarians have nothing to eat in this hotel and people who eat healthy food also have nothing to eat. We turned to the reception and asked if it was possible to get cheese because we do not eat this food, we got of course a negative answer that this is what, we asked why not clean our room, a man named Adam answered us a non-substantive, unconvincing answer, he said That because the Covid-19 the cleaning lady is not allowed to enter the room, in addition we explained to him that we have nothing to eat in the morning, said there was once another meal and the hotel changed food because of the Covid-19, we asked him why the hotel takes taxes from us if not given proper service, his answer was cold and alienated, said so That is, on the last day he put a note on the door that we have to pay $ 170 and if we do not pay he will charge us the credit card. We asked him what he wanted to charge if we did not receive service, told us that because we used the pool and cleaned our room, we told him they did not clean our room and asked when we charge $ 170 for using the pool which we also used only twice, said it costs money and we will check the site we ordered , We checked the Agoda website and no cost is mentioned for the use of the pool, I also asked the receptionist when we arrived if the entrance to the pool is free, he said for sure, and did not mention any cost. In conclusion whoever comes to the hotel will take into account that he will clean the room himself, you will probably have to buy food because there is nothing to eat which makes the stay more expensive, collect the garbage, put bags in bins, go look for the cleaner to get clean towels or to dump the garbage, we accumulated A pile of dirty towels in a room that no one has collected, so if you want to be on vacation and not at work, choose another hotel, because in this hotel from the moment you arrive you will find yourself nervous, cleaning all day, shopping at the supermarket because there is nothing to eat and no one cares. We contacted Mr. Adam again and asked to speak to a manager, but Mr. Adam claimed that he is both a receptionist and a manager and he states everything here, in addition he said "I give the same answer to all my customers and I intend to charge your credit card" according to his answer everyone can complain And do not get service, in addition to the very old rooms, the mattress of the bed is sunken and uncomfortable to sleep, if you have to sleep together on the same bed it is very uncomfortable, the bed is small for a couple. We have a very large travel agency, I would not recommend people to stay in such a hotel because no one listens to the public complaints. In short does not recommend you to stay in this hotel, the price is very expensive and does not justify the attitude to the service you will receive. After Mr. Adam's disgraceful treatment, I will make sure to post on every possible site a review of the hotel so that no one is harmed as we were harmed. Read less

The hotel room smelled. Not sure why but it did. 2. Don't try calling the front desk as they don't pick up the phone. The GOODS: There were several. 1. The cost is very good considering that breakfast is included. 2. The room was easily able to accommodate the 4 of us. Our daughters slept on the pull out bed and they had their privacy. 3. The hotel is very centrally located. Walking distance to a ton of good restaurants, shops and excursions. If you like to gamble, Harrahs is within a few yards. 4. The hotel though very large, is beautiful. 5. Staff is very friendly sometimes too friendly. One of the staff members scared the heck out of my 11yr old daughter when he told her that she was very pretty but we will let that pass. Read less
