My stay with the Resort at Squaw Creek is always exceptional. They have so much to offer from dining to recreation and a fantastic spa. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. My last stay was during the pandemic and they are going above and beyond to ensure guests feel safe with out compromising the experience of the stay.

First off, I would like to acknowledge employee Grant Baublitz, at checkin. He was extremely helpful and very professional. First off, I would like to acknowledge employee Grant Baublitz, at checkin. He was extremely helpful and very professional. We only had a room for 2 nights and when we wanted to extend our stay he worked magic getting us a great rate and letting us stay in our current room. The hotel was only at 40% capacity due to covid restrictions but the activities, pool, restaurants were all open. We hiked right outside our hotel, we rented electric bikes and rode to Tahoe City and back and ventured to the famous Garwoods for lunch which was only 30 minutes away. You can tube down the Truckee river which is close as well. Great place especially for families with children. they even had movie night at the pool and build a bear workshop on location. Read less

Great safe secure place to visit and go biking, hiking, swimming and just plain relaxing by the fire pit. Love the E bike rentals. Just wish the hot tubs were open. We parked the car for a week and never had to use it.

Just a beautiful place to be. The views from the room are incredible. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The facilities are just upscale, with a swimming pool, and restaurants near by. Nice to imagine a better mountain resort.

This was our 2nd time staying at the Resort at Squaw Creek, and we do not know why it took us this long to come back. The property was absolutely gorgeous and especially after a day full of activities at Lake Tahoe, offered stunning views of the valley for well deserved relaxation. If possible, try to book a room with a view of the valley. Resort at Squaw Creak is an excellent launching pad for your activities in Tahoe. Although not along the lake, we found it to be an easy 3 mile drive to Tahoe City for beach access and local shops. Several miles further are King's Beach and Incline Village. For additional dining options, you can also drive north 6 miles into Truckee. Or if you prefer, there's still things to keep you busy on site at the resort. Due to COVID-19, the only restaurant available was Sandy's Pub since it allowed for outdoor dining. We had breakfast here and it was delicious. The staff here were in joyful spirits and extremely friendly. We do wish things will return to normal soon so we can see the other restaurants and spa reopen. Special thanks to the front desk and to Claudia for the warm welcomes. We were definitely spoiled this trip. My wife didn't want to leave! See you next time. Read less
