Park City Peaks Hotel

Park City, Utah

The hotel

This is a popular well-priced hotel that goes out of its way to keep its guests returning. The welcoming lobby with its crackling stone fireplace is the first thing that greets you as you walk into the hotel, and it makes you feel instantly at home. Then you’re shown to your cosy bedroom, attractively decorated in neutral creams and golds and you feel even better. By the time you’ve had a drink and a chat with one of the friendly locals in the relaxed sports bar you’ll probably never want to leave! And that’s before you’ve taken a dip in the warm, indoor/outdoor pool or felt the hot tub’s bubbles work their magic on your exhausted leg muscles after a day exploring the three different ski resorts that the local free shuttle will take you to. As if this wasn’t enough, the hotel throws in a complimentary breakfast every morning to set you on your way to the slopes, and for days off from the slopes you can enjoy a wander around historic Main St, dropped off free by the hotel! No wonder this place is so popular!

Our family had a great time! Rooms were clean staff was friendly and the food at the restaurant was amazing. My kids couldn’t stop talking about how good the pizza was! This is a great affordable hotel close to historic Main Street we will stay here again! Highly recommended!

The front desk staff was not wearing masks, which meant all the guests in the lobby / elevators thought it was just fine not to wear masks. If you have more that 2 brain cells you know wearing mask protects not only yourself, but those around you from COVID. The front desk staff was not wearing masks, which meant all the guests in the lobby / elevators thought it was just fine not to wear masks. If you have more that 2 brain cells you know wearing mask protects not only yourself, but those around you from COVID. I asked the woman who checked us in and she said Utah has not mandated masks to be worn. That is an unacceptable response, it is up to the leadership of this business to keep its staff and its guests safe. I would in no way recommend this hotel. Also the bar closes at 8 due to covid? Yeah, that makes a lot of sense when basically no one was social distancing in the lobby, outside, and in the pool area. I honestly don't think we will be ever going back to Utah after this experience with the lack of responsibility on public safety from those who live there. I will say had COVID not been going on and the bar had not closed at a stupidly early time the room was pretty nice, and I did like the shower gel! House keeping was wearing masks and the room was kinda clean. Unfortunately COVID has revealed the true colors of certain businesses and this one clearly has missed the mark. Read less

Room was great. Staff was friendly. Don't bother asking about the $20 credit towards the restaurant. We asked three different people (one of them being our waiter) and we got three different answers. Long story short, I am not going to waste my time arguing over $20. Ill take my business elsewhere when I come back to Park City next month.

Very clean rooms and very friendly staff. Things were a little different because of COVID (required face masks In general areas & limited breakfast) but that was to be suspected. Great price and would definitely stay here again.
