Stayed overnight with our dogs and it was a great stay. Room was clean and comfortable. We were in an older section with brick walls so heard absolutely nothing while inside. Wildlife comes right up near the rooms-was surprised by an elk on a pre dawn potty walk-thankfully I had a flashlight and spotted her before the dogs did. Anyhow, lovely… Read more

So central to everything and the staff could not have been more helpful! Enjoy the park! Read less

My room at the Lodge was comfortable and had all I needed for a comfortable night's stay. the room was clean and quiet. I drove to the Market Deli for food as my room was some distance from the Market, so I drove back to my room in the dark.. Very difficult to see any signage or room numbers. Being in my sixties, my night vision is not what it was when I was in my thirties. It would have been nice if the restaurant and Tavern were open. Next time. Staff were helpful and friendly, which is a big plus for me. One staff member helped me locate the garage because my tires needed attention. Yes, I would stay here again. Read less

Well priced for a place inside Grand Canyon National Park. Within walking distance to the Market, rim and visitor center. Many trails start at the lodge. Room had been upgraded, nice inside everything works. Animals come to near the lodge, also easy to pick the shuttles/bus when/if running. Facilities was limited when I was there, it was… Read more

Wow, the grand canyon! Nature! Peace! Adventure! I'm giving this lodge a solid "pretty good" rating. It was exactly like the Holiday Inn Express I stayed at the night before, except for the following: Elk on the property. Excellent! So good, amazing, amazing. Don't be a jerk, just look at them politely from a safe distance and admire them. … Read more
Wow, the grand canyon! Nature! Peace! Proximity to the grand canyon: Easy trail goes behind the post office, and it was peaceful and sometimes I was even alone on the trail, which was so restful and the silence was beautiful. And guess, what ladies who are traveling solo like me? There is zero, and I mean zero, attention paid to your security at this place. None! I was thoughtfully placed in the furthest lodge, which had like one other couple staying there. Imagine my delight when I walked through the entrance to my lodge, which is thoughtfully left unlocked 24/ 7 and went to my room, and found no interior lock whatsoever! Imagine the delightful conversation I had with the completely exasperated and overwhelmed front desk, who refused to consider moving me! Now, imagine the rube goldberg contraption I had to rig every night so I could sleep! Finally on the third night there, the sole other inhabitants had checked out. I packed up, bags in car, went to front desk, and this time they moved me. So it ended well. Clearly they thought I was a true badass solo traveler like Cheryl Strayed - but I'm not, hence this "meh" review of an otherwise very nice and otherwise highly recommendable place/ Read less
