Pleasantly surprised at this lodge! Very clean, even had Bath and Body Work soup, lotion and hand wash in the room! Easy access to canyon. Grocery within walking along with several places to eat. Beds are comfy.

They have the A/C on a motion sensor that can’t be changed so that when you leave your room the a/c shuts off. We were out the entire day snd came back to the room to a temp of almost 80 degrees. It cooled off at night but very warm that evening. The ice machine was broken so no ice available either. I’d stay outside the park in a nicer hotel… Read more

Think glamping. The rooms are a bit tired but absolutely suitable for the little bit of time we spent in it. Beds super comfy, fridge in room. Walking distance to the Yavapai Tavern and one of the paths to the rim, too. The check in staff was not at all friendly, but the Tavern staff was OUTSTANDING. We would def recommend despite some shortfalls.

Will you appreciate being checked into a room stinking like wet dog that also house a giant filthy dog cage despite having terrible pet dander allergies? If you answered yes to any of these questions then… Read more
