We found the rooms to be very comfortable, if basic (we stayed on East Wing), with large comfy beds and a fridge and free coffee. We even had decent WiFi in the mornings but note this is only reliably accessible in the communal areas. A big bonus is the proximity to the rim trail. Proved to be an ideal base from which to explores the south rim. We also made use of the onsite restaurant, which we found to be busy but really good. Read less

This is our second time at the Yavapai and we love it. Considering the turnover they have they manage this Accommodation very well. The lady checking us in was also very helpful. Check in with the book club, the car service appointment, the kids camp counselor. Come on these buildings and their barely capable air conditioners were paid for in the last century. Please give us 21st century expected amenities. How about adding out door seating. Since we're in nature and there is no patio/balcony with the room at least a bench would be nice. Then you could walk up the steps with out dodging the folks siting on the steps. Lots of hot water anytime though. Read less

Free car parking adjacent to rooms which are located in several independent blocks. Hotel staff are friendly and efficient. They reacted to a small issue with the TV within minutes. I stayed here with friends and had an enjoyable experience. The rooms were clean and well maintained and beds were comfortable. The bathroom facilities were clean and there was enough room for two of us to get ready at once.
