London Bridge Resort

Lake Havasu, Lake Powell & Lake Havasu

The hotel

A glimpse of home in the desert – London Bridge Resort is indeed the resting place of our very own London Bridge, taken down brick by brick and rebuilt overlooking beautiful Lake Havasu. And what a location it is – surrounded by 110 beautiful acres that doubles as a veritable playground for the outdoors enthusiast. There’s an on-site marina and dock plus water sports galore, including water skiing, fishing, sailing and canoeing. Plan your own water adventure or enjoy a narrated Colorado River tour on the Kon Tiki or Bluewater Jet Boat – a great way to get to grips with your surrounds! Dry land activities include shopping in nearby English Village, jeep tours in the Mojave Desert or a visit to nearby Havasu National Wildlife Refuge Park. There’s also a 9-hole golf course, open seven days a week and perfect for beginners and veterans. There are plenty of restaurants and nightspots in the immediate vicinity too or enjoy an evening at the resort’s very own Martini Bay which overlooks London Bridge and Bridgewater Channel. Both a restaurant and a bar, it’s a chic venue with a casual, relaxing atmosphere. Kokomo Havasu is another lively venue come sundown with DJ’s spinning dance tunes well into the night!

We had a 2 bd/2 ba room with upstairs deck looking over the bridge and channel. Since during pandemic, masks required in public areas and most people followed the rules. We had a 2 bd/2 ba room with upstairs deck looking over the bridge and channel. Since during pandemic, masks required in public areas and most people followed the rules. Nice to see hand sanitizer and signs by all entrances and plexiglass at check-in. We were told which pool areas were open or closed and got a great discount card to use for dining or take out. There was no Kokomos nightclub going with music until 2am, so was pleasantly quiet for us to sleep in a very comfortable bed and wake up looking out at the bridge and channel. Room was upgraded and clean - a few items missing from the kitchen but a call to the front desk and received the items quickly. AC worked great as it was 110 outside. I did note cleaning crew one morning and they all had facemasks on. Pools looked cool and inviting but we didn't use as we had boat docked there and were on the lake every day. Did see security out checking boats paid docking fees on the weekend evenings, but felt safe to park there. We've been coming for 30 years and love staying here as owners. Read less

Always a pleasure to stay here. Even if it was 115 degrees. Many amenities were closed due to Covid19. At least the pool was open. Lovely walk along the lake trails. took the boat to the Havasu Landing Casino because we wanted to see the remodel. The boat ride is always fun.

The suite we had was in fact, a one bedroom apartment. That was cool. It was not clean and had to have hotel staff into clean it. That is when things turned very south for us. No one on the staff of this hotel wore facemasks. No one. When we asked to speak to the manager none was on-site; our phone call to her was not returned. Won't be back. Read less

Was not impressed and wonder how people are giving this property more stars. Recently spent a week here and do not recommend staying here based on our stay. Here are some of the issues we had. First we were put in a room right above the party / night club pool which played extremely loud music till 2am on Friday and Saturday night. When I spoke to front desk about this and why they did not even warn us, the response was "Oh they should have told you and it should not be as bad during the week". Due to the current Virus situation, daily room service was not available. This is understandable but the room had no instructions telling you this and how to get supplies if needed. The property is just not being maintained and here are some examples. Toilet needed to be flushed multiple times and could not be fixed, shower drain very clogged and maintenance person took a large amount of gunk from the drain, A/C filter very clogged and so much dust is was caked and grey, toilet seats chipped and should have been replaced some time ago. The above was very disappointing to us and seems to show that management and owners of property just do not care and that a routine maintenance plan is not in place. Even though the location is great, would not recommend this resort and Lake Havasu has many other choices. Read less
