London Bridge Resort

Lake Havasu, Lake Powell & Lake Havasu

The hotel

A glimpse of home in the desert – London Bridge Resort is indeed the resting place of our very own London Bridge, taken down brick by brick and rebuilt overlooking beautiful Lake Havasu. And what a location it is – surrounded by 110 beautiful acres that doubles as a veritable playground for the outdoors enthusiast. There’s an on-site marina and dock plus water sports galore, including water skiing, fishing, sailing and canoeing. Plan your own water adventure or enjoy a narrated Colorado River tour on the Kon Tiki or Bluewater Jet Boat – a great way to get to grips with your surrounds! Dry land activities include shopping in nearby English Village, jeep tours in the Mojave Desert or a visit to nearby Havasu National Wildlife Refuge Park. There’s also a 9-hole golf course, open seven days a week and perfect for beginners and veterans. There are plenty of restaurants and nightspots in the immediate vicinity too or enjoy an evening at the resort’s very own Martini Bay which overlooks London Bridge and Bridgewater Channel. Both a restaurant and a bar, it’s a chic venue with a casual, relaxing atmosphere. Kokomo Havasu is another lively venue come sundown with DJ’s spinning dance tunes well into the night!

We also stayed at this resort at a time when we weren't expecting it to be the spring break destination for east, mid state and west coast colleges for the next 5 weeks. We stayed in a room that also had paper thin walls so much so that you could hear boys relieving themselves after a busy day of beer consumption in the room adjacent or upstairs. Bedroom placement was below dining room above with tile floors and constant musical chair games going on at all hours. Green shirted security folks were present but only saw them walking back and forth to the buildings next door. They were not present during the numerous screaming episodes in the hallways from jealous females who were making their feelings felt at 3 am. River view rooms are a choice above the music in the restaurant, or above the disco music scene or near the tennis courts set up as outdoor concert center. Quietest rooms are facing the parking lots at the north end of the buildings. The breakfast included part was not available, I guess to timeshare owners, we were quoted $29.95 pp for 4 nights. Ended up leaving sooner than expected so the breakers won in the end Read less

Or in h*ll, actually. Here for family vacation during college spring break.. what a mistake. Hotel has paper thin walls and drunk students partying all night means sleepless nights for us too. Absolutely nothing about this resort is worth this. Seriously considering changing hotels or just going home.

The resort is well kept up, the room was small. So small the bedroom was that you couldn't even open the closet doors all the way because they hit the end table. Made the mistake going at spring break, thankfully it was early spring break not too many there yet, but I have to say the hotel did have security walking inside the hotel and out which… Read more

Staff was nice, but our room wasn’t. For some reason, they gave us a handicapped accessible room, which we did not request. A door to the bathroom was broken, ceiling fans were filthy, fan over stove did not work, and water pressure was not only lacking, but at times, stopped completely!
