London Bridge Resort

Lake Havasu, Lake Powell & Lake Havasu

The hotel

A glimpse of home in the desert – London Bridge Resort is indeed the resting place of our very own London Bridge, taken down brick by brick and rebuilt overlooking beautiful Lake Havasu. And what a location it is – surrounded by 110 beautiful acres that doubles as a veritable playground for the outdoors enthusiast. There’s an on-site marina and dock plus water sports galore, including water skiing, fishing, sailing and canoeing. Plan your own water adventure or enjoy a narrated Colorado River tour on the Kon Tiki or Bluewater Jet Boat – a great way to get to grips with your surrounds! Dry land activities include shopping in nearby English Village, jeep tours in the Mojave Desert or a visit to nearby Havasu National Wildlife Refuge Park. There’s also a 9-hole golf course, open seven days a week and perfect for beginners and veterans. There are plenty of restaurants and nightspots in the immediate vicinity too or enjoy an evening at the resort’s very own Martini Bay which overlooks London Bridge and Bridgewater Channel. Both a restaurant and a bar, it’s a chic venue with a casual, relaxing atmosphere. Kokomo Havasu is another lively venue come sundown with DJ’s spinning dance tunes well into the night!

Was not impressed and wonder how people are giving this property more stars. Recently spent a week here and do not recommend staying here based on our stay. Here are some of the issues we had. First we were put in a room right above the party / night club pool which played extremely loud music till 2am on Friday and Saturday night. When I spoke to front desk about this and why they did not even warn us, the response was "Oh they should have told you and it should not be as bad during the week". Due to the current Virus situation, daily room service was not available. This is understandable but the room had no instructions telling you this and how to get supplies if needed. The property is just not being maintained and here are some examples. Toilet needed to be flushed multiple times and could not be fixed, shower drain very clogged and maintenance person took a large amount of gunk from the drain, A/C filter very clogged and so much dust is was caked and grey, toilet seats chipped and should have been replaced some time ago. The above was very disappointing to us and seems to show that management and owners of property just do not care and that a routine maintenance plan is not in place. Even though the location is great, would not recommend this resort and Lake Havasu has many other choices. Read less

We were there just after the re-opening due to COVID. The resort is right on the water and clearly they have boat slips for those staying there. We enjoyed watching boats go by all the time. Short ride to Lake Havasu. Staff was great. We had a two bedroom (other party couldn't make it) which we thought was a little small. We actually were glad the other party didn't make it so we had more room. Furniture was good but a little dated. Kitchen was sufficient even without an oven. We do wish they had a convection microwave but it did have all the utensils, etc we needed. Considering we were there just as they reopened, it was very good. Don't expect sightseeing as there isn't much around. Clearly a place for water and boat people. We even rented a pontoon boat to go around the lake and up the river and there wasn't much to see. It is in the desert. Read less

Not clean, toilets don't flush showers filthy. Management does not keep track of who is staying the allre and who isn't. The pool is packed with locals. Isn't room for guests. They have us directly above the night club. Unbelievable! We have to yell at each other in the room to hear each other. The music goes until 2am so needless to say we aren't sleeping until after 2:30 in the morning. This is not a family resort, in my opinion it's not a resort at all, but 100% not family. Would never recommend this place or stay here again. We still have 4 more nights to go. Read less
